You could play the N64 on an emulator.
You could try it under Wine, there are several platinum ratings for it.

tinyE: It's way too broken to run on anything made less that ten years ago.
Not true. And even if it was, that didn't stop many games to end up here.

OKAY I GET IT! :P

I was wrong. I'm an idiot. I spoke out of my ass. :D

Please don't throw me into the Great Pit of Carkoon!

ashwald: Solution 1: Get off your lazy ass and try Bandock's guide already.

Solution 2: Buy an old computer or the parts to build one on Ebay. Surely the Holy Grail of racing games deserves the effort?

Solution 3: Sell the game to me. (This is of course the best of solutions. :P)
Solution 4: Use VirtualBox with Win 95/98 installed.

Spectre: Does virtualbox come with graphics acceleration now?
Not sure.
A 1999 game shouldn't need hardware acceleration.

No. :P It's early and that was the most mundane job I could think of on the spot. ;P

It's been years since I tried it but that failed because of lack of Direct3D support.

tinyE: XD If you think you can find a reliable fix for Racer be my guest. :P

It is hands down the greatest racing game ever and I have searched to the ends of the Earth for a solution. Perhaps you can find something beyond the ends of the Earth.

IronArcturus: I've only played the N64 version, but I've always wanted to try the PC version. I've read a lot of good things about it! Plus the wishlist has over 4,800 votes, so hopefully GOG will tell LucasArts/Disney to hurry up with the game! :P
Voted :D
