Elmofongo: Eh I am not one of those guys that hates on D3. I played it with the Reapers of Souls xpac, did a Crusader playthrough and thought it was fun and decent heck ven the story was not as bad as I thought it would be.
I don't "hate" D3 either. I just found it bland, I didn't like the changes and the "Diablo feel" was gone. I'm not saying it's a terrible game, it's just not very interesting.

Breja: Pretty good. I don't care about games getting "new features". I play them and move on. And if it isn't broken it does not need to be patched.
avatar
Elenarie: It is not about being broken, but about having something new to do in the game.
Maybe because its relies on mods? They are sort of "patches".

Wouldn't call that a post-sale support at all.

True but isn't like any other games? Without content they "die". An example is Skyrim all dlc is out and its alive because of mod community. D3 on other hand without having mods would "die" if weren't the patches.
Remember when got it out? There wasn't much of repeatability.
Have to say, that the first WoW trailer that's actually made me happy that I stopped paying for the game years ago. Prior vids there's always been some tension between how much it costs and how tedious it had grown, balanced against that lingering reminder of young love.

Okay, so I wasn't that young. But everything on offer there seems like it's just going through the motions. And the more they improve the graphics, the less I like them, actually.
Well, if they offer those free 7 days time they usually do, when a new expansion is announced/released, i just might bother installing the damn thing, only to go in every chat channel and start spamming and trolling just about everyone, out of their marbles.

No more new player free level 90 boosts, though. That was great and made me able to make a Death Knight i always wanted to try. But now, this costs 50 euros...

You might get your sit belts for this...

If you go all the way down until the Opt-in, there is the "features" and it says:

Character Boost—immediately raise one character to level 100

Oh, boy. I bet Blizzard is loosing MUCH money and MANY customers, in order to offer all those alluring, tempting things. First, they offer powerlevelling services, previously deemed illegal by them, themselves... Then, they even put it as a one time extra bonus to free time already offered for trying the expansion. And this is twice already, by now, they did that before. Once before, they even offered an entire expansion for free (Cataclysm, it was?). All this simply shouts: "We are loosing customers (= money), so please, bite the bait of all those shiny bauble-baits!". Challenge accepted. 100 level Death Knight, incoming trolling and spamming everywhere. Will be much fun, once again. And i will buy the expansion, and/or game time. Not...! :P

That's happens when you try to give fewer things with the same money that customers pay. I mean took 2 expansions for a transmog wardrobe or whatever they planned while Rift they made in a normal big patch. No new Battleground expect Ashran to prior 6.2 its was Conquest farm from objectives instead, you know, going the opposite team fortress "Ashran is going to be Alterac Valley theme ". They got Wintergrasp and Tol Barad to learn from open pvp, and only on 6.2 they added that you go to a group once you queue for Ashran.Like i said give less pay the same.
It would be nice if they just went ahead with another proper Warcraft. I was a huge fan of 2, played it forever, and still do with Wargus/Stratagus. 3 looked amazing and still play it with my brother all the time. Still waiting for a proper sequel, you know, minus the Starcraft 2 online crap (I have two absolutely useless DVD's that would only start a 20+ GB download without reading the DVD)

EDIT: But I do have to say that I had a great time on WOW when I used to play it. I miss Brunes the Toll... Got him all the way to level 25(-ish) (played non stop, don't know why I never got too much higher than that), stopped playing around Burning Crusade, then restarted on Lich King for a while, just never started to really play it again after that.

The main problem with a Broken Isles expansion is the fact that Gul'dan only raised the islands from the deep 30 years previous, so apart from the Naga all the civilizations will be "new".

Im seeing something like this:
Blizzard dev speaking about Broken Isles lore.
The isles were already there.(Jedi hand wave)

Breja: Oh come on, how can you not have the "polish warcraft"?
Still waiting for it to appear here.
Retired from this game nov 2014, got fedup with the nerfs, esp as I played as a fire mage, when I first played I had to make tons of food for healers, now they need none. in the panda expansion, I never once ran out of mana, plus the talents are crap. bring back the old talent tree. game is too easy.

The small isles where the tomb of Sargeras is were raised from the water floor. The rest were always there.

Cavenagh: game is too easy.
Yep, spoken like a true world first race progression Mythic raider. Too easy. Kek.
