Well at least no more garrisons.

And the new continant is The Broken Isles which has not been seen since Warcraft 3 Frozen Throne, Official Map:

OK if they bring back Illidan than bring back Arthas the Lich King in a new coat of paint in the next Xpac and this time players can get a Frostmourne transmog :P

If i got correctly the "garrison" will be the class hub. Fewer followers, more "customization" to them.I hope there isn't a mine/garden.Got so burned out having logging 5 chars to get mats.

Illidan was not dead. Ever. We never killed him. Maiev Shadowsong took him in her Vault of Wardens, which is what you see in the cinematic teaser.

Frostmourne is a weapon that Frost Death Knights will be able to wear in the expansion.
Would be better if they just made a Twisting Nether expansion where Sargeras is final boss to end the game. But no they'll keep milking.

The proper term is "wield"

Anyway what upsets me a bit is that the grahpical quality became alot more detailed and hd and better that the old content is starting to look so dated its a huge contrast when starting from say Durotar starting zone to the current expansion content which graphically looks much better and less 2004.

How long until Blizzard just says fuck it and remodel and re-textured every single old content from Vanilla to Wrath?

Heck they can just put Ragnaros' Firelands model in Molten Core.

I have a feeling Sargeras may appear in this Xpac because:

1. The expansion is clearly Burning Legion based.

2. The Broken Isles is home to the Tomb of Sargeras from Warcraft 3.

3. Sargeras mabye the final boss in this Xpac. (Or Kil'Jaeden?)

It will most likely be Illidan. Gul'dan wakes up his soul using Fel energy. So I assume that he is beyond saving.
Still waiting for Warcraft 4...

actually, you know what? Fuck it. I'll just play Armies... oh come on, why are Armies of Exigo still not on GOG? I guess I'll just play Knight... KnighShift isn't here either? Oh come on, how can you not have the "polish warcraft"? War of the Ring maybe? No, of course not. Fuck.
I remember when this game came out.

Eleven years ago.
It looks like it has some decent new features and changes.

But not worth putting out ~$85 CDN for the privilege of trying it , assuming the cost and subscription rates stay the same.

Well considering how few raids we get each xpac is dissipointing.

WOW had 8 (Upper Blackrock Spire and Blackrock Depths were Raids back than?)

BC had 9

Wrath had 9, but 2 of them were just updated Vanilla content (Nax and Onyxia) so technically 7

Cata had 6

MOP had 5

WOD had 3.

I can see why they chose Broken Isles, small with very few inhabitants. They can charge for a full-price expansion while only making a few dungeons.

Also do you notice that the broken isles is shaped like Numenor of Tolkein lore?
