And by 'surprise' I mean of course GOG releases of Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas to coincide with the release of Fallout 4? Have there been any hints from Bethesda or GOG? Do you think it's likely?

I've been wanting to replay Fallout 3, so I'm hoping for that game at least.

Idk... Bethesda is here on GOG now after all... Sales of Morrowind and the others could be changing a few minds at Bethsoft HQ... right?

lol. But it's true. Bethesda says they don't hate DRM-Free releases but their action tells something else.

In general? Yes. For a 10th November release? Doubtful, especially since we're in the middle of a big sale.

Morrowind is almost 13 years old. And the other Bethesda games are older. If they changed their mind about DRM, then where is Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas? So obviously Bethesda doesn't like the idea of DRM free games. They are just waiting until their games can not be sold anymore due to being so old and 99% of people already playing them. before letting GOG sell them.

For all we know GOG is prepping these games already. Or Not. We never know what they're doing with releases until they have them in a truly ready state.
Would be amazing. I can only get this game on Steam in the really bad German translation with the gore cut completely out. I would love to play it in the original English version. Now, the gore aspect might be more difficult for the German market as I think the uncut version is banned over here like the Wolfenstein games or Quake 3. And it would be terrible if this awesome game was released only internationally and not at all in Germany like they did with the Id games.

Let me introduce you to a phrase... "change the record". Same thing over and over and over... the madhouse has been over run by the mind numbing and predictable.

GOG does tend to dribble releases out a few at a time tho, often starting with the older games. And perhaps they were saving FO3 and FO:NV for this very occasion...

But perhaps Bethesda will be another Ubisoft. (Still waiting on more Assassin's Creed...) :|
