I installed Ubuntu GNOME 16.04 yesterday, and started Victor Vran. I couldn't attach the screenshot, since the file size is too big, so check it out on imgur.

Small recommendation for picture attachment on gog. Use Gimp on Linux, open screenshot, click on File and the on Export as and export the picture as .jpeg and set quality of picture to 70-80% (rarely needs to be set to 60%) which will make it small enough for gog forums. Takes about a minute to set up.Post edited May 03, 2016 by Matruchus

Oh! Oh! Is that one of those jokes where you ask a question and then we don't know the answer, and then you tell the punch line, and we all stare like cartoon characters, waiting for the fun part... Then you shrug, smile, say "Huuuh?", repeat the punchline and say "Get it?" And finally we all go laughing like we actually get the joke.
This is it, right?
This is it, right?

My just installed Ubuntu 16.04. Using Budgie Desktop + Arc-Darker theme + Moca icons.
First time that I really enjoy using Ubuntu. It may even be my next main distro :p

I recently decided I'd install linux on actual hardware instead of using it though a VM, as I have been doing for the past 9 or so months. After I customised it to my heart's content, I present to you the final (atm) result of my Linux Mint 18 Mate installation :-)

The 1st pic shows the obligatory game -Defender's Quest DX in this case-, the 2nd some system information and the output of the screenfetch command -about which I found through this very thread- and the 3rd shows the clean desktop-this time I'll be mainly using the start menu to access software in order to keep the desktop uncluttered.
I edited out the username from these pics as it's my r-l first name btw...
P.S There's only one problem with my linux install and not a minor one (but not truly major either): the wifi does not work as expected. It drops off from time to time and disconnects by itself -this is really annoying, especially when it happens while I'm downloading something. A provisional solution is for me to either take the laptop right next to the router or use ethernet, but thing is the layout of my house makes it so that moving like that is more of an inconvenience. Another laptop, with win7 installed does not have this happening (which means that I currently use that one in order to post this, so that I won't have the internet go south on me), so it must have something to do with the wifi card for that one (I bought a separate laptop for linux as I see hard drive partioning as an unnecessary risk) which is Broadcom (and yes, I did install bcmwl-kernel-source, which was what my model needed in order for the wifi to work at all). Anyways, sorry for this rambling, it's just that I'm kind of surprised there isn't more protest about this issue, so that some better drivers might be released -I guess most linux users just use ethernet or something...
