I got the Steam version in the Xmas sale anticipation this new patch, but there's been no new word on it since the initial announcement.

Nobody's angry, man. Just when you read a news article from October, check and see if there's already a thread for it. This is a normal thing for another forum member to point out and remind you of. Maybe I could have written it better, but no drama was intended. Just keep it in mind.

Awesome news.

I saw this info in the Steam forum dated January 15th:

It's me and Thomas Jepp (aka Minimaul) who are working it. Thomas and I have been working together on Saints Row modding stuff for over 10 years, including the saintsrowmods.com site. We have contracted Thomas for this project. He's focusing on fixing performance, stability, steam multiplayer, and porting the DLC, and I'm working on scripting, bugfixes, UGC, and am the acting Project Manager.

Also, we don't have a solid release date on this yet, as there is a lot to do.
