I hope this comes to GOG aswell.

Saints Row 2 is often considered as one of the worst PC ports ever released. However, that’s about to change. Volition has just announced at SR2’s 11th anniversary stream that it will release a new PC performance patch.

Volition stated that it has found the PC source code from the original outsourced port job for Saints Row 2. As such, the team will release a new patch that will address the game’s performance issues. Moreover, it will be adding Steamworks support and the console-only DLC.

While we don’t have an ETA on when this update will come out, we do know that it will be free for all existing Steam owners.

Saints Row 2 is an open-world game that offers expanded customization options, a totally transformed and expanded city of Stilwater, all new vehicles, sandbox tools and toys.

So we're gonna get a delayed patch I'm guessing. I wonder if they even remember there's a GOG version of the game.

It will have Steam integration now so it's possible a GOG patch may be a while. Considering (part of) CDP is responsible for the original port, I'm going to say they're probably aware xD

If they only release on steam alongside other crap they pull then they can fuck off but i guess it's Deep Silver striking again, most developers/pubs are fuckheads and honestly i'm tired of it.

It's the same every time, taking your money is no problem but treating paying customers the same now that's too much to ask.

If it bothers you THAT much, it may be time to turn the computer off and go outside. Go listen to the birds, feed some ducks, kill a few deer, scare some children with a clown outfit or something.

CD Project Black (now defunct) was doing the port, actually - outsourced to some chinese company that had so tight budget they got all audio in mono and many more bizarre examples.
