Hm, sound interesting, and the price is low enough. Now to see if it's worth it or not.
Does it matter, not like she can die. Worst that can happen to your daughter is her running away probably just like in The Little Ones.
A fricking season pass, for an indie game? WTH happened to the world?

I have been a pretty big fun of 11bit studios (I have whole Anomaly series here and This War of Mine on humble), but I think that is going to change now...
I am a bit torn with this release:

First, I have thought with release of a free DLC Anniversary Edition basically 11bit Studios said: "here, this is the complete edition of the game (kinda like GOTY editions of a bigger studios), we will move on now to other games (like Frost Punk)."

So release of a new content is quite surprising, and welcomed.
And price is favourable too.

On the other hand, season pass for an indie games does smell.

I´d be rather if that would be free update, whereas the main game would not be discounted, promoting more of an approach "buy our game, and you ´ll get all of these for free" and this way would appeal to new customers (Shovel Knight did it like that, although it is true they increased the base price later on).
Certainly, it's a bit surprising to see a new "Season Pass" for a game that looks pretty wrapped up.

Important question!

I noticed that the DLC (Father's Promise) will contain four extra locations and new game mechanics, like a dialogue and clue searching systems. Will these be available as well in "Custom" mode or are they stuck to this specific DLC?

It's nice to know that in a devastated warzone DLC can still get through!

Right at the moment you can get the base game + all upcoming content for 50% of the base price of the original game. In my eyes that's much better than the approach of the devlopers of Shovel Knight (give away the content for free to previous owners, but double the price for everyone else).
For anyone who's bought it, what's the gameplay like? I loved the base This War of Mine game, but didn't like "The Little Ones" DLC much for several reasons. Eg, annoying mechanics like accidentally clicking on "talk to kid" and you then get stuck in a painfully slow unquittable conversation that eats up like 2hrs instead of working on the shelter). Kids are invincible vs sickness / hunger / home invasions takes away most of the tension, new bugs introduced (even in the base game), more micro-managing, etc. I know kids dying in games is a bit of a taboo for some but isn't that precisely the "War is Hell" / personal tragedy kind of game TWOM is about?
I thought the devs were done with this game. I usually don't buy and don't play something if it is not complete...
Granted, the whole pack is not expensive, but still.
