The Technomancer and Mars: War Logs are now available DRM-free. Get them up to 75% off until October 10th, 1pm UTC.

Mars: War Logs takes you to Mars, nearly a century after the cataclysm that threw the planet and its colonists into chaos. Water has become the most precious resource on the arid red planet, with a few companies fighting a perpetual war for its control.

The Technomancer is a sci-fi RPG set on Mars, featuring dynamic combat and an epic story line, where your choices will affect the fate of the Red Planet. You are a Technomancer, a formidable warrior harnessing destructive electrical powers. Embark on a perilous journey across a planet torn apart by conflict and infested with mutant creatures.
Never heard of either, but the trailers look awesome. Chance is both will be in my library before too long.
Never heard of Technomancer either, but it looks original indeed. I'll probably get them to play in WIne.
More games from Spiders! :D Nice! :D
I bought Technomancer a week or two ago on that other store with a big discount. I didn't think it was going to end up here. Luckily it was a good sale then and a good sale now, so I'm picking it up again. Thanks GOG.
It's good to see more Focus / Spiders games here. :) Keep 'em coming.
low rated
Shame they don't use Connect...

I'd have Bound by Flame/Mars: War Logs/Technomancer here without buying them again, which would be nice, but if they did Saint's Row level GOG Connect releases I'd be buying Greedfall on Steam in hopes of getting a GOG copy when it finally comes here rather than holding off on it so I'll only have to buy the game once.

Or, you know, just release it on GOG now so I can buy it without waiting years.
Can't speak for The Technomancer (own it but havent played it yet) but I really enjoyed Mars: War Logs. It has some rough edges here and there, and may not be to everybodys taste.

If you've enjoyed other Spiders RPGs then this should be right up your alley, if not, it would be worth looking into the game via some video reviews maybe to get a better feel of whats involved.

Of course, if like me you're a sucker for any sci fi based on Mars, might just be worth jumping in with the low price.

Nice releases, thank you Focus Home and GOG team! Keep 'em coming!
Cool. I kinda wish GOG had spaced these releases out more though, it feels like it's being dumped all at once :P

In any case, I hope this is leading up to Focus' most-desired games, Styx series and Plague Tale. (of course there are still others like Of Orcs and Men) edit: and Greedfall eventually edit2: and Silverfall Complete

Now we just need Greedfall to finish the Spiders collection! Fingers crossed

Thanks for these, GOG!

Mars War Logs!
Cheers Spiders and GOG! Great game.
As for The Technomancer.. not as great as Mars, sadly. Still interesting story though.
These actually both look really good. I've bought a few of these games (Spiders / Focus Home) on impulse because they seem like nice, full modern games released with a sweet discount in genres I like.

I played a demo of War Logs on Xbox years ago and remembered liking it - I might grab one or both of them.

QUESTION:

If I just go with one, is Technomancer the clearly superior game? If I remember War Logs, even the early quests had a lot of options to approach them based on the skills you had (being able to talk around a problem or fix something rather than find a part if you had the skill, etc). I'm a sucker for that kind of stuff - does it continue in Technomancer?

Also, is combat in Technomancer action / real time? Or is it more KOTOR / Dragon Age?

Its a sequel / semi sequel type thing. Most likely worth playing War Logs first.

tfishell: Of Orcs and Men
Which is the first game featuring Styx

Nice to see these games here.
