Ronin features a unique take on action platforming and turn-based combat, making each encounter equal parts puzzle game and deeply satisfying action encounter.

You can also pick up the Digital Special Edition, which includes a full color digital comic and the original soundtrack in MP3 and FLAC format.

Get your sword kiddo, we're out for revenge in Ronin, DRM-free on GOG.com. The 25% launch discount will last for one week, until July 7, 2:59 PM GMT.

In the press:

"I’d say it’s like being Batman, but I think it’s more like being Batman if Batman ever said, “To hell with this crap”." --PCGamesN

"Ronin has struck upon a novel form of combat that feels so pat and pleasing that it’s kind of amazing it hasn’t been done before. [...] Combat which manages to be both balletic and intensely strategic – a rare combination.” --Rock, Paper, Shotgun
Interesting, I'll probably get it during a 60% off or more sale.

ryan_sm99: 2GB of video ram for a game that looks like that?!

These developers are really getting so damn lazy with their optimization.

Niggles: Quite shocked at this requirement. And a tiny indie game at that.
How many of us actually have a 2GB video card?
I think it's a GOG typo (what a surprise). The game's Steam page makes no such mention.

Wow, crap, I already bought it and none of my machines have that kind of hardware. Hrm. I hope GOG refunds in these cases. It's too bad, the game looks very interesting.
Cool nice to see the game here, I first saw Ronin when it was announced at PAX and was quite intrigued. If anyone is interested in getting a taste of the gameplay then you can try the demo from the following link.

I think that listing is a mistake by gog. The Steam version listing says 2 GB of RAM, not VRAM. I think that's what gog meant to write on the gamecard.

Edit: Or rather, they wrote 2 GB in the video card section by mistake I assume.

omega64: Take a look at Gunpoint.
Oh, you're right! I bought it long ago, but haven't played it yet.. big backlog, so little free time nowadays.. :P
Insta-wishlisted ;)
I wonder why Devolver insists so much on regionally priced games, I thought they were cool... seems it's all just a ploy! :D
Looks great, wishlisted for now.
To anyone who've tried it: What is the gameplay really like: turned based or action?

Is it pausable action?

I can't be certain, and my apologies if I am wrong, but I think it did indeed mention 2GB under the graphics section on the Steam page. Perhaps that was the error and GOG was using those specifications, or the developer made a mistake on both platforms and GOG is just taking longer to correct it.

Edit: I had a quick look using Archive.org, and it did indeed say 2GB graphics (see attached screenshot, or link). So perhaps it was just a mistake by the developer.

At any rate, it's very doubtful that this game demands 2 GBs of video RAM.
