In the press:

"I’d say it’s like being Batman, but I think it’s more like being Batman if Batman ever said, “To hell with this crap”." --PCGamesN

"Ronin has struck upon a novel form of combat that feels so pat and pleasing that it’s kind of amazing it hasn’t been done before. [...] Combat which manages to be both balletic and intensely strategic – a rare combination.” --Rock, Paper, Shotgun
Turn-based? That might be interesting. I'll have to check out the demo.

Alright I tried the demo. It's very similar to Gunpoint but with a turn-based twist that actually made it more interesting (IMO).

That said, no excuse to keep that kind of requirements and then incorporate a bloody 30FPS lock. I checked Steam and the developer wrote: "Also, I did make a 60 fps version and I didn't like it:D"

Unbelievable.

I forgot. If anyone cares, at 1080p with AA, Vsync and LightFX, VRAM lingers around 1GB.

IAmSinistar: Welcome back. One trusts you are tanned, rested, and ready (for more abuse). :)

EDIT: Oh, and this game looks cool too. Somewhere between Mark of the Ninja and Not A Hero, stylistically. Both of which I enjoyed.
Thanks, I am rested but not tanned :P

omega64: Take a look at Gunpoint.
Indeed, my first though was it was Gunpoint visuals mixed with Mark of the Ninja. If it plays like that then I'm in.
Wheee, thanks for fixing that VRAM thing. Now take my money!
Don't really care about a 60fps version, I'd just like a hard version...

And keyrebinding, can't beb othered with devs who don't bother with that "feature".

Besides, it's regionally priced anyway (just with any devolver release). So it's a no-no for me.

I can live with the keybindings (though remapping is always a good option) but even in NG+ it isn't exceptionally tough, just got to keep moving until an opportunity presents itself to strike. The bigger problem is the occasional control glitch which can be detrimental to your health.

You have a qwerty keyboard right? Well, try playing that game with an azerty layout on your qwerty keyboard then go back and tell me this gain with a straight face...

Or Dvorak i'm sure, if memory serves me right the comma is where the w is... making wasd a very difficult thing to do :P

Curiously as i think about it, one of the few games i can recall that actually outright supports or references Dvorak was RingRunner (part of the plot curiously enough, selling Dvorak keyboards.. The sales pitch usually involved blowing up their ships if they didn't buy so...)
