The wave crashers.

<span class="bold">Kingdom Rush Frontiers</span>, the next chapter in the lighthearted tower-defense series, is available now for Windows and Mac, DRM-free on GOG.com, with a 25% permanent loyalty discount for existing owners of <span class="bold">Kingdom Rush</span>.

They are coming at you again! Torrents of charming but formidable enemies with unique abilities are marching through the new, exotic maps and your towers are the only thing that can stop their advancing. Fortify them with upgrades, unleash their devastating abilities (like poisonous clouds and deadly assassins), and recruit legendary heroes to aid in your efforts. Not only will you need these champions to take some punishment away from your towers when facing the special units and scary bosses, but you should also choose and train their abilities to maximize their effectiveness within your strategy plan. This is war, son, don't get thrown off by the adorable animations and catchy tunes! Stay focused or your precious towers will soon get stomped, munched, or even fried to oblivion.

Hold your kingdom intact by holding back the waves of cute monsters in <span class="bold">Kingdom Rush Frontiers</span>, DRM-free on GOG.com.
The 25% loyalty discount for owners of Kingdom Rush is permanent. To make use of the discount, go to the original Kingdom Rush product in your library and click on the special code waiting for you there or head to gog.com/redeem to claim it.

Interesting the loyalty discount doesn't work for me. Maybe they figure Australians are already getting a good enough price :) AUD $9.99.

Logged out of my account refreshed the page so I can see what happened when the other game isn't owned and price didn't change.

No matter spent too much money last night at a concert I'll just skip this for the time being.

Ichwillnichtmehr: Since the discount is permanent, we won't miss out on it, but I really would like to buy/play the game ASAP.

Matruchus: If you put the game in your shopping basket the account gets applied automatically. The discount is correctly applied at the checkout so you can buy it whenever you will. It only doesn't show the discount on the store webpage.
As with "DyNaer" didn't work for me either. Anyway I'm not particularly loyal anyway, haven't even played the first one yet.

Is this some kind of new "we don't care" policy? Gog either doesn't read the comments anymore or they don't care. As such discounts were possible in the past it can't be a technical problem and 22 hours had been a long time to fix the problem. Well, a shame my posts have such a negative bias ... but gog started to suck with regional pricing (FU traitors!) and went straight to "in dev" (let's wait for the first "in dev" game which clearly fails to deliver what was promised ... :] ) and regional locking (FU traitors!). Not to mention the really bad "galaxy" client with their annoying "try galaxy" crap and ignoring problems for a long time like this one. The Website isn't really responsive and you rely on "barefoot essentials for GOG.com" for many features (THIS is quite a joke!), the many complaints about the forum software are unheard. How hard is it to give me no reasons to write such posts? In case of gog it seems to be impossible ...
So, yeah, rate me low for criticizing "holy" gog.

No, it doesn't.

The wrong price is persistent, all the way up to the PayPal "Pay now" button.

Yes, it seems you are correct. Yesterday the discounted price was visible in the basket and checkout but today it isn't. Seems gog is working on it.
Hm, remembered one thing. Would it be possible for gog.com to offer also an android version of the game in the package? Especially since this is a mobile game. Just a thought. Would love to play the original on my cyanogen phone but don't really wan't to rebuy it again.
Hey guys! We did have a problem with the discounts, but it should be resolved now. You can find your discount code on the original Kingdom Rush product in your library. Then, head to gog.com/redeem to claim it. :)

If you should have been eligible and paid full-price for the game, our support team will help you out and get everything straightened.

Try refreshing your account:

If that does not help, you'll need to contact support.

Damn, I still didn't *complete* the first

kparal: The original game is for Linux. No Linux support here, though?
avatar
tremere110: The Linux version will be added in the future according to the devs.
For those that would like reference, https://www.ironhidegames.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=5&amp;t=25894&amp;sid=7bff5ee21db538524ea6c581df4bd4a3 states that they're planning a Linux release as well. Additionally the Steam page shows just Win & Mac too. I suspect the devs they outsourced this to just did Linux last and Ironhide didn't want to wait for it to release the Win & Mac version.

But yeah, I won't be purchasing it until the Linux version is added either. I might keep a tab saved on my browser and check periodically and buy as soon as I notice it does have Linux support though...
