Was it the side of boycott or refund? If so then(considering sales at that point) it likely didn't impact it much...sad to say. They likely more wanted to shut up the ones who got outraged after the fact just ti shut them up and not hurt future sales....they likely made a good amount of locked in sales regardless.

I was very unlikely to get a refund, but to be fair I had hardly played it and exposed my thoughts to GOG and they were very understanding. I wouldn't have been able to enjoy the game anyway. I'm planning on buying Minoria tomorrow, which I am sure to enjoy after Momodora.

It was a bit odd to see all the positivity and the praise get flushed down the drain as soon as some strange pressure came from nowhere. It's too bad the game was tainted like that, because it really ruined the mood. Hopefully this serves as an example on how not to handle a non-crisis. It seems well made, I hope others enjoy it. I might still get Dusk later and maybe Ion on a deep sale or bundle one day.

I'm going to be cautiously optimistic and think it more likely corporate realized they needed to side with the people who made the game. I looked at recent discord screens and it's clear that if the devs had to suffer through "sensitivity training", all it taught them was some brand new insults for child molesters.

I don't think ANY reviews should be removed....ever. If the site allows rating of reviews people can mark thw good ones and the bad ones as they are.

I only advocate for this as to me removing such is also censorship and also(big also here) it allows us to see who knows their games and who is just trying to push an agenda via reviews.
