Raiding tombs with Doctor Jones.

Indiana Jones® and the Emperor's Tomb™, like an interactive Indy movie, is available now on Windows - for the first time in digital distribution - DRM-free on GOG.com!

Indiana Jones® and the Emperor's Tomb™ came to PCs and consoles to a pretty warm reception from Dr. Jones' fans and gamers alike. If you're familiar with third person action games released circa early-2000, you should more or less know what to expect. The Emperor's Tomb doesn't do much that's particularly out of the ordinary, but what does is deliver a solid, Tomb Raider-ish action experience and a well written, unmistakably Indy adventure (complete with signature hat-retrieving action) - it might just be the sequel you've been looking for.

Hold on to your fedora, Indiana Jones® and the Emperor's Tomb™ is available now - a DRM-free digital premiere on GOG.com!

I'm pretty sure it will come to GoG eventually, we just have to wait. While waiting play this one, time will fly believe me :)

I have some hopes that when Infernal Machine makes it to GoG they'll fix some of its (gameplay) problems like the terrible hitboxes when platforming, although i highly doubt it.
someone in here posted "Unfortunately it's censored (the synchro / dubbing)."

Can someone confirm this version on GOG is the one with all the nazi-insignia removed or the UNCUT one ?

(there was an international uncut version and one with all the nazi-insignias (swastikas, ss-sign, etc.) removed for the german market and i still couldnt find an info what version this one is.)

I'm in the Istanbul Chapter and just fought 2 nazis and both of them had the swastikas with nazi-insignias.
So its the uncut version for me.

Having a lot of fun playing it, don't forget to edit vars.cfg to remove the 30fps lock.

Sorry for the confusion. I posted that. I was only referring to the german audio of that game (a change on one nazi salute, Göring changed to Hering ^^) otherwise there is only removal of nazi imagery in the german version. Can be seen here (german site).

I presume that the english version on gog is uncut but the german isn't atleast in termsf the audio (because there is no uncut german audio). I hope that clarifies it a bit.

does it make sense to start with this one and play later the infernal mashine? are these games independent?

More or less because Emperor's Tomb is more of a prequel to Temple of Doom taking place in 1935 while Infernal Machine is set in 1947.

yyahoo: This is a good question actually. I had a ton of problems with the original release and gamepads. Particularly in getting the right stick axis working correctly. On many gamepads, the axis' on the right stick would be shifted, up would be mapped to right and left to up, etc... And I never could figure out how to fix it. Of all the gamepads I had at the time (no 360 though) only my logitech ones worked right...

Darkenmal: I tried it with my Xbone controller and it was a nightmare. Both triggers and the right stick were disabled which made it unplayable for me. Just go keyboard and mouse, it actually works ok.
it works with my 360 controller
just the rigth stick doesnt do anything which makes it difficutl to line the camera up

You can safely start with this one as it has no connections to Infernal Machine (i think Infernal Machine is kind of a sequel to Fate of Atlantis but even there all that means is they both feature Sophia Hapgood as a character).
To be honest i would recommend to start with this one as it's more action packed and you can get into it more easily.
