I waited a pretty long time before buying this on Steam. After I saw the "hubbub" here that more or less said it was NOT coming here, I bought it on Steam. And I don't regret that.

Yeah, I wish I had it DRM-free, but I'm not buying it again. I have bought other titles here that I've owned on Steam before, but this won't be one of them. At least I have a version that works well, and I really love the game.

So I guess I don't have a point, other than... wish you were here on Day #1??
This is one Iwantedto see on here, tried the Steam demo.

Demo???

Where did you find that demo?
I can't see it.
Would like to try the game, because I'm not sure about the sys requirements.
I'm not interested in the game but financially I hope it is worthwhile for GOG to have accepted it and the devs to have brought it. :)

I remember It was downlodable one or two months ago, while the game was still in development or pre-release. I don't know about now.

Found it in the database - downloading now.
Thanks.
Just picked this one up. Please take this as a +1 for achievements.
+1 to achievements! Will buy it on here if we get those. :D

joningold: We're looking at achievements for an update (depending on interest, basically). Will take this as a "+1" to including them!
My backlog is too big to justify buying new games right now, but Heaven's Vault is definitely on my radar and i plan to get it sooner or later. Achievements would make the game even more attractive for sure.

Zrevnur: So GOG rejected this game and its now #4 bestseller on GOG?
Was there some proper reason for rejecting it or is GOG "curation" really that bad?
Maybe they simply made a mistake which they just corrected? I personally don't have a problem with making mistakes as long as you are willing to correct them.

joningold: ...snip...
I want to personally thank you for finding a way on to GOG. This is amazing, my daughter and I have been mesmerized by your protagonist since the moment we watched the first trailer.

Truly, deeply, thank you... and GOG to for making this possible!

We cant wait to meet Aliya and delve deep into Heaven's Vault <3
Please add achievements to your games on GOG if they have them elsewhere.

+1

I don't want to sound like a dick but... you should have added achievements from the start, instead of saying that you would do so after x requests.

Thankfully we are talking about a very minor thing which doesn't break the game or any cut content (not sure how much you are versed on GOG, but we are constantly fighting devs and publishers which treat us like 2nd class citizen, due to either cut content or lack of updates/features from the steam counterpart), but this way it sounds like you didn't want to bother more than just release the game on GOG and be done with it.

Not trying of attacking you or your team (I read from a previous post that it's composed of about 5 people), but you should understand too that as people would have been pissed on STEAM if you released the game without achievements there, the same applies here.

I'm not personally fond to achievements, but I'd really advice on adding them from a parity with steam standpoint.

Anyway, welcome on GOG and I hope your game will sell like hotcakes here too. :)
