rtcvb32: Just watched TB's video on Hand of fate... Really good and interesting game... I now know i want to get it at some point.
I just watched that video as well. Actually came back here in case anyone hadn't posted the link.

I think I'll pick it up now. The GOG price in Australian dollars is $5.50 or more in my currency cheaper than what I'd pay through steam factoring in US currency and conversions. So I can't complain about that. Plus I like to see indie developers do ok and hopefully they can put in resources to patch any rough spots (performance optimisation and combat) and work towards their next game.
I never played any of these types games before, so I'm unsure if I will like the gameplay, This looks pretty cool though, but too expensive to take a chance on it.

A nice addition to the catalogue gog.

Performance seems good to me? Runs fine for me, no crashes so far, and almost no bugs. As for the combat system, I doubt they'll make any major changes to it, but it's pretty solid. It's on the upper end of "average", imho. I do recommend a gamepad, though.

The game seems to be selling well, so here's hoping they'll be able to invest in future releases -- whether that's an expansion, sequel or a new game.

Don't think. Get it. It's excellent.

And don't get freaked out over weird slowdowns at the start, they seem to be one time only (probably assets being loaded for the first time after installation, even tho it's weird)

I didn't really think in the end :) Well I own a copy here now. This has really been an expensive week on GOG and I haven't even paid my bills yet :)

I spent over 5000 bucks this month for various things which I sadly could not avoid, I feel so bad for puchasing the game :-x ... But screw it, at least it really is good.
When will the DLC be released?
