Married life is not easy, especially when you're a restless and -largely- clueless pirate legend like Guybrush Threepwood. Doesn't help if your wife is considered officially dead, either.
Complete your Monkey Island collection as you embark on a hilarious adventure to save the pirates' unsavory way of life from the curse of late capitalism. Demonic cameos, cutthroat puzzles, and a dash of time paradox await!

Catch up on the legendary series with 25% off Curse of Monkey Island and 66% off Secret of Monkey Island and LeChuck's Revenge. Or grab them all together with Escape from Monkey Island with Stan's permanent, additional 25% series discount.
Individual discounts last until June 21, 1pm UTC.

ApexProcyon: The Monkey Island equivalent of Star Wars: Episode 1.
It could be worse, cough..Tales..cough.
Oh, if this doesn't make me yearn for back in the day. Grumpy old man mode, activate!
I remember people complaining oh so much about this game, and look now, in hindsight, it's not even half bad. Those were the good old times where even the bad PC games were still pretty darn good. Today, most supposedly good games are pretty worthless, and the bad ones can really get my blood boiling. We were complaining on such a high level back then, and didn't even realise it.

I know there were exceptions back then, and there are many exceptions now. But just recently I remembers, back in the late 90s I could pop in a random games magazine's cover CD-ROM, there would be 25 game demos on it, and 20 of them would be awesome. These days I find it almost impossible to find the diamonds in the rough.
Thanks, GOG! I love you! ♥
I'm not a great fan of this one, but I love the series and will definitely buy it at some point. Thanks for completing the series here!
Thanks guys!!!!
Thank you, GOG and Disney!
I love the end when the monkey is in the cab driving across the bridge and it hits a land mine and kills the driver and....

Wait, I'm thinking of a different escape.

Barry_Woodward: The problem is, the vast majority of the 24,627 voters for Full Throttle and the 18,299 voters for Day Of The Tentacle have had their wishes answered by the Double Fine remakes, which include the originals. Leaving up those entries is misleading. People have already created new wishlist entries that specifically ask for the originals, which is the appropriate way to handle this.
If you haven't already, I'd suggest appealing this to Support and giving them this explanation. Currently GOG isn't completing the ones you linked because I guess enough people complained with Grim Fandango was merged and marked as "completed".

Arykel: So this won't be coming to Steam at all?

gixgox: GOG you made an old, adventurous pointer-'n-clicker happy again.

Vainamoinen: Sadly, EMI did not. ;)
Well, there's no pointing and clicking in the game.*

* = Unless someone makes a fan patch in ResidualVM, like they did with Grim Fandango.
People say this is "the bad one", but to be frank this was my first monkey island game on ps2. Got me into the whole series later on when I had a computer, and the remasters came out. Escape from Monkey Island is a good, if not amazing, walk-around adventure game.

The voice acting in this monkey island is great, music top-notch, and puzzles appropriately zany without getting too bored when you're 'stuck'. The ones calling this game bad are spoiled and had great childhoods with the originals. haha
