Was something else removed as well? The catalog count appears to be down 4 for me (5 including Real Myst).

If it's possible, please keep the game's page open so we can get to it from our game collection :) When I figure out what to play next I go to those pages and look at the pictures and read the description and reviews so it would be very useful :)

Maybe you can just make it not be listed when searching for games? And add info to the page about why it has been removed? :)

Apparently 4 Ys VIII DLCs. No idea if a bug or a planned removal, though...

I see, thanks to you and immi101 for the notice.

Linko90: Cyan Worlds feel Real Myst does not accurately represent the vision of the game

Dalthnock: From the store page: "This is how the creators of this game wanted it to look like from the very beginning!"

C'mon.

EDIT: Attached a screenshot, in case some funnyperson decides to edit the description.
Perhaps that was true in 2000, but I would assume feelings changed 14 years later.

They seem to be back in the store?

Still absolutely NO reason to not include the original as a bonus. Pretty sure it's not GOGs decision (or even your call) but I simply cannot accept the devs explanation because it's simply illogical.

They were available untile June 18th, so they removed it now. I believe the costume dlc is still available separately but the rest is not available anymore. Nice move given the fact that the game was released in that pitiful state so most customers didn't even bother purchasing it. Really a disgrace, but we are talking about NISA here.

Or maybe it was just marketspeak, aka bullshit. These types of buzzwords and phrases always grate me, & little wonder. They're empty, meaningless, insincere dreck. Insults.

I now regret backing up the kickstarter project to get the book. Cyan can go have sexual intercourse with themselves.

I probably need to include this, please don't mistake my displeasure at Cyan as being directed towards you, because it's certainly not. You did nothing wrong.

They were removed about 1~2 weeks ago, and reappeared.
The worst part is, you can not buy those YS VIII DLCs as gifts.

Maybe you want to vote for this wish to hopefully increase the priority for GOG:

Keep store page for removed games

Voted! Thank you for the link! :)
Voted as well - that's a really good idea and both consumer and business-friendly as well (like Amazon the keeps the item page available even if the item itself is out of stock for indefinite period of time - for customers it provides all the necessary information, such as item description and specifications, as well as history of its existence and user feedback on it, and for business it helps keeping track of how much of interest and traffic the "out of stock" item is producing, so it may help copyright owners to bring it someday back for sale.
So if I create a wish for this, should I call it "Real Myst (ORIGINAL)"?

DDDespair: For me it's about seeing how different the Ages are in each incarnation. For example, see attached image. Myst Masterpiece Edition is on the left, and had a sort of yellow-y fog for the Stoneship Age. Realmyst, on the right, changed it to being cloudy and rainy, but has a day/night cycle.

And, last I checked, Realmyst Masterpiece Edition changes Stoneship to being at night while raining. With no day/night cycle. So it looks like 2nd attached image.

I don't exactly hate it, but I had been hoping for more replication of the earlier look. So to me, being able see the Age in its various forms is, well, enjoyable.
According to the Real Myst Masterpiece Edition store page, there are still day/night cycles.

Regardless, both Masterpiece Editions are on my wishlist, but maybe I should wait for the Super realMyst 4K Championship Edition?
