It was in Update #6. Mr Cole did sort of apologize in the comment section, but really I do not think the article was necessary in the first place. I do not even like FPS, and just like him I too have motion/simulator sickness, but I really think he should just promote the Hero-U game without trying to bring other genre down.
He seems to come off defensively sometimes.
Latest update. Love what I'm seeing, and it features Steven 'Blackthorne' Alexander.

Oh yeah Psyringe you're in there too :P

Not really, they are talking about a user called Psirenne. Who is this impostor?! ;)

Funnily enough, when I tried to search GOG for the user or for the quoted passage, I got no results. Doesn't really mean anything though, considering the ... uniqueness ... of GOG's search function. ;)
LOL I just realized you've never even posted in this thread before. How embarrassing :$

It's just a pun that Lori made and the artists ran with. It's not like QfG wasn't silly every once in a while (read: almost all the time).

But most people looking at the page don't know it's a pun. The sheep/goats/whatever make it look like a kid's educational flash game or something.

I'm not trying to be negative - it's just the vibe they're giving off.

Quite honestly, a couple weeks ago I was debating whether to stay with Project Eternity of withdraw and put that pledge to Hero-U. I stayed with Project Eternity, still leaving the door open to making a pledge to Hero-U, but in retrospect I made a good choice.

Just not feeling this one. I don't doubt the Coles' abilities as game designers, but this game is being advertised as a turn-based RPG and an adventure game. Without a full studio budget I can't imagine anybody integrating both of those elements unless they are both slimmed down considerably to a near-casual level.

I'm very interested to see what they'll come up with. The dungeon crawling I don't much care for -- I'm much more interested in the story and seeing how they'll integrate the gameplay into it.

Also, upgrading the adventure game dialogue system sounds intriguing. I've long thought that dialogue in games could be improved considerably, but that voice acting and lack of (video game) writing talent holds it back. QfG had great writing and a huge amount of it, but it was still pretty limited.
Really? A sheep mascot is giving you definitive vibes of an educational flash game for kids? Seriously?

Nobody dare to make a joke, I guess.

My stance on it is that if Broken Sword can have a Goat as a mascot, than Hero-U can have a Sheep.

In fact, I think all Kickstarters should have a farm or barnyard animal as a mascot. Let's make it happen, when the next Kickstarter we're interested in goes live and the inevitable DRM-Free, No DLC, Localization and Linux/Mac/Tablet/Whatever support demands start, throw in a request for picking a farm animal as a mascot.
There is a new video which shows some new artwork posted on the main kickstarter page which looks pretty promising!!

Ok. How much money would it take to make a game that you'd like to play?
So do we think this is going to make it? Personally, I think its going to struggle...
