:D Ordered my Gwent card set. :D I am a happy camper now.
Is May 31 the day you can first play or is that the first download date? Usually you allow an early download date but can't play until the release date.
CD PROJEKT RED, we are steel waiting for native Linux port of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt!.. Please!!! :)

IAmSinistar: Thank you both! I does indeed sound like a graphics card update should be enough. And not even a bank-breaking one with enough fans to achieve flight. :)
I went with the 750Ti specifically because it requires much less power than most other cards. In my case, my PSU is 400W, which prevents me from going with a more powerful card. I'm also keen to stay away from CPU upgrades as long as possible because that means a new motherboard (new CPU, new socket of course), probably different RAM etc .

The GPU upgrade cost me about £100 and is one of the Windforce ones by Gigabyte (model #GV-N75TWF2-2GI). It has two fans, makes but a whisper, and barely rises about 41 Celsius on load. I could probably overclock it to gain 15%, but no need so far.

Easily the most satisfying upgrade I've made in years.

I believe it is both. I don't think this DLC has an early download option.

Good info, thank you!
I wonder, can I get all 4 Gwent decks? Or is it to late?

Please vote if you didn't yet, and spread the word:

I'm surprised there isn't way more votes there by now. It doesn't look like it will happen any time soon anyway, but show the demand! For the reference, Witcher 2 for Linux was released 3 years after the initial Windows release.

Typical. The first expansion happened right before I left for a three week TV shoot on the road and now the second one's coming out right in the middle of house-sitting in another state! At least I'll be somewhat mollified by getting a Gwent deck. XD
i don't need to preorder...

season pass ftw.
Why is the audio on the preview so damn awful?
Could be interesting - in 2018 or 2019, when they release "finaliest finalised final" enhanced version, Vulcan'ised, and working natively on Linux-based operating systems.

Until that (last part, especially), it seems that CDPR doesn't like my money - no matter how good the game is supposed to be.

Heh, I'd welcome that, but sooner :) I'm somewhat surprised no one asked any Linux questions to CDPR on their annual shareholders meeting. May be some Linux users in Poland should get their stocks and attend that meeting next time ;)
