Outlaws + A Handful of Missions: Remaster is now available for pre-order on GOG!

From the masters at Nightdive Studios comes another remaster of a timeless classic. This time, it’s the legendary Outlaws + A Handful of Missions, the western FPS that defined a genre.

Pre-order now!
+1 a nice surprise. Classic game.

Hopefully they can adjust the difficulty, as the bad difficulty (Medium) standard enemies were too easy, whilst on Ugly (Hardest) the bosses were instant death as soon as they see you.
Oh! Oh! Now I know where Red Dead Redemption got its setting and ideas! Men wearing funny hats riding horses here and there and shooting too.

Remakes schemakes, but where is Outlaws 2?

Wait, 'til you learn where Outlaws got its setting and ideas from.

JomVanFliet: Bare-bones 1:1 remasters, sure, there's an argument, but when there's new content added/introduced on top of the remaster (new episodes, new enemies, new weapons, new mechanics, etc.) it seems only fair for the developers responsible to be compensated accordingly?
Prettty much this. Some remasters cost alot more to do then others.

Ironically, that cheaper/free for ownerdHexen remaster seems to have more content added than this Outlaws version. I don't blame Nightdive there though it's likely Disneys Greed is the problem here.
I've pre-ordered it. Thanks, Nightdive Studios. I've been eagerly awaiting an Outlaws Remaster. Now, please, a Dead Man's Hand Remaster.
Ah, yes, another upcoming release with inflated requirements, without any optimization from Nightdive Studios! It's incredible how these guys are at ruining classics.
And let me guess... you're going to use the "magic engine" called KEX?!
If you don't like it, don't buy it. Preblem solved.
I don't get why some geeks have to make a feud or crusade against anything.
Now the classic shooter I would like Nightdive to do a modern version of is "Redneck Rampage".
If Nightdive releases a remaster of Redneck Rampage, I will buy it.
Redneck works well with the source port Rednukem: https://github.com/nblood/nblood

The Raze source port also supports Redneck Rampage and its sequels:

Well remembered! If my memory does not fail, Raze is great for high definition graphics mods and things like that. =)
I would assume the pricing/lack of discount/no carry-over to old owners is entirely down to Disney in this case. I dont recall the Dark Forces one getting any when it launched either.

I could swear it got afew bucks knocked off for prior owners but unsure and Disney has actuality gave owners of old game versions a discount afew times in the past latest I recall for sure is the Disney classics collection
This is cool but I hope Nightdive begin to go outside FPS games into other genres.
