Outlaws + A Handful of Missions: Remaster is now available for pre-order on GOG!

From the masters at Nightdive Studios comes another remaster of a timeless classic. This time, it’s the legendary Outlaws + A Handful of Missions, the western FPS that defined a genre.

Pre-order now!

kai2: Even with good games, I'm tired of remasters.

In most cases the modding community has already done the work (for free).

Instead of new IP, we get remasters jacked up in price and often originals removed (artificial inflation).

Not enjoying this trend.
What can you say but it's easy money?

idbeholdME: Haven't tested the GOG version yet, but I assume it works out of the box without the need to fiddle with it like the CD version?
I tested the GOG version. It runs out of the box here and it is bundled with nGlide. The GOG version itself is the fourth option to run this game. DREAMM, The Force Engine (when 2.0 is released), dgVoodoo or nGlide are all good options to use for this game.

amok: Just had a look. I’d say the remaster is mostly aimed at people who never owned or played it before — so, mainly new buyers.
Console buyers especially. For instance, there are a lot of console owners who only knew Bioshock who just got to experience System Shock 2 for the first time because of the Night Dive enhanced edition.
Hope the cutscenes get redone in widescreen too. That would be great!

Anyway, I am happy, that NightDive is doing these remasters.
