vicklemos: What's with the red visor on the keyboard? Is it for playing Virtual Boy games or something? :P
Keyboard is a G15 refresh and the "red visor" is the "Game Panel". It's used to display all kinds of stuff, like CPU/GPU load+temperature and RAM usage, simple RSS feeds and other "Applets", like Skype (you can make calls and stuff from there), Twitter, Task Manager or ingame information like HP, MP or other stats. But yeah, you can play Pong on it too - even with two players on one keyboard :D

Matewis: Only rule : you are NOT allowed to tidy up first.

Since my gaming rig broke (damn thing freezes in BIOS), my regular desk is my new gaming station and my win7 laptop is my gaming rig. I'll tidy up tomorrow I swear
I have that same Batman cup!

tinyE: I have yet to see any of you post a pic with a fucking cat asleep on the keyboard whole you are trying to play a game. Am I the only one who has that problem? :P
no you aren't.
here's my cat not sleeping on my keyboard, but relaxing on my keyboard and trying to get my full attention.

It isn't easy for me to post that picture, since my cat depicted here is very ill right now, but I'll like this fond memories I have of her, and I wanted to share her loveliness. She loved to detract me from gaming or reading articles on the pc, also to just follow the mouse cursor as if it was some kind of prey.

Yep, that's an ironing board.
Yep, that has been my "mousepad" since forever.
Yep, all covered in great DRC Congo-ness.

All hail the great and almighty Congo! :P

What's way more exciting than your gaming laptop is that book your reading:

Jared Diamond's Collapse is one of the best books I've read this decade. I truly recommend another book of his as well, if you haven't read it already: Guns, germs and steel explains perfectly how the West's dominance over the world is not due to any inherent superiority on our part but due to a geographical stroke of luck.

real.geizterfahr: Well... Nothing spectacular :/
Well, you do get points for having a joystick on your desk.
I'd post a picture, but my my man cave is a bit messy. Some of the setups shown are very nice 8).

No tidying up? Well alright. I did open my favourite game though, with my character just entering it's namesake's city (to hide the open porn tabs, you know). And added a picture of what's above my rig, to show there's more fun things in life than gaming.

But dude, op has said that the "only rule : you are NOT allowed to tidy up first." :D
Do you think I really had the time to clean up my messy ironing... I mean, my pc desk? That what spoils the fun! :P

I like how the flag (Congolese Pride!) goes well with the colorful game screen. BTW, on the right side, isn't it one of those new-retro console which plays cartridges from various 8-16 bits consoles of the 80-90's?

LOL, how do you know this film?

DubConqueror => your shelf filled with Dutch-speaking books reminds me I'm always amazed at the number of Dutch people on GOG, must be the only place on the net where I see you folks (besides Dutch websites of course)

That was completely unintentional! :)
Glad you liked it, man.

Nope, it's just some old regular Famicom, the japanese NES!
But it could surely be an Analogue NT. Cheap, huh? :D
Anyways here is a stock photo of my real gaming laptop, a ThinkPad W500.
