Catrhis: Also why should i not be allowed to talk about a game, or anything really, before it's official release?
"We would like you to take a look at the new house we're building. We still need to install walls, plumbing and electricity, but we'd like you to take a look because we value your judgement."
"They are trying to sell us houses without walls, plumbing nor electricity. Are they crazy?"

Depending on what stage the game is when you get it, it may not be a final build, and the issues you may have with it may have already been addressed. Depending on the company's confidence in its coders and patching methods, they may wish to have reviews of the final product and not of the WIP one.

Antimateria: would be nice if there would be some dialogue in planets, is there?
There is. You can encounter intelligent life, though you won't be able to understand them at once. You will need to explore a bit more to be able to pick up words of their language, so you can begin to properly understand them.

Antimateria: What I've seen the game it seems there is only animals and some empty trade-stations,where you basically use some computer to buy stuff, would be nice if there would be some dialogue in planets, is there?
Trade stations are not empty you can steal from them even...

There is "small cities" according to ign video FAQ and there is ancient artifiacts and events.

If you give me an official review code, then you believe the game is in a state where most first impression can give you a sense of the game

Otherwise you either are a fool or an idiot

Jim reviewed the game as it was when he got the codes, if the developer or sony is not fine with that, then postpone the release of the game a little bit more, when it's more complete

He got the same experience a player would have got playing the game, why he should not have talked about that? Because it was WIP? Does that mean that the developer/sony wanted a reviewer to give a review to an unfinished product so close to release, and thus most people would have obviously thought it's the state of the game it will be in their metaphorical hands?

Yes to the latter, so, no excuse

I don't care if this game become the holy grail of gaming 2016, it probably won't, the game was in that way at release, and frankly, no matter what they add in, the base game won't improve much no matter what they do

Unless they significantly alter the game experience, but again, that will not be the game they originally released, or promised

Base building for example....why? Originally in an interview they said there will be no player base, after all Isn't my objective to reach the center of the galaxy? Why burdening the player with a base i need to return back to, unless i can pack it of course, in that case it would be cool

I would guess so no idea...

They were talking about how big creatures could get than asked if there is cities and the guy said ...
"well that is hard one to say , when I think of cities I think of large skyscrapers"

and he started going on about settlements.
So .. ya it was fairly vague cause it was more causal interview... actually think might have been podcast.

At what point did I say that Jim had posted an early review, or that the game he got was not complete? I gave an example of why a company may ask one to not post pre-release reviews. No idea what the NMS situation is about that, since I didn't really follow it.

If you try to make me review this "house", 3 months before "official release", the you are right

If you make me "review" this house the day before it's release, and it's missing so much planned features that significantly alter the experience, then yes it's crazy

Unfortunately no, you see Paysafecards are actually used by the Illuminati to create a standardized form of currency to which they would use to create their own line of tinfoil wearables, leaving me out of business.

Wait, YOU ARE ONE OF THEM AREN'T YOU?

UnrealQuakie:
I'll have to say no, we are 100% classic tinfoil hat only producers.
This trend of other tinfoil wearables are a things they made up to control your mind!

IT'S A CONSPIRACY!

thomq: Any chance part of that persona would be occasionally having a stunt to get attention? Like, say, claiming the servers are down because of maliciousness?

Or maybe making an excuse instead of admitting not having the money to pay for more bandwidth?

I don't know anything about this persona other than what everyone is saying here. What would match the profile or reputation of this persona?
From what I see, he is heavily reliant on his morals and professional ethics much like TB (actually as I can see, both TB and Jim are as straight as an arrow as you can get). He does skits to make a point (fake pogs for boglins playing on the CSGO lotto issues, and early access where he did things early/buggy/badly edited for a point), but he doesn't do things to 'get attention' or get drama.

If you want a good example of who he really is as a person, you need to watch more of his unscripted stuff, generally gameplay videos where he starts talking about D&D and other activities going on in life while looking at a crappy game. Or... The Queen's speech is pretty good where there is no real hint of the persona at all.
