GR00T: My experience has been the vast majority of the time (and I mean
vast majority), I find better deals digitally than with physical copies of games. There are, of course, the odd outliers, but they're rare. Talking PC here, though.
But you live in Canada.
Things are different where I live.
I expected you to understand the advantages of purchasing physical games, but apparently I was expecting too much, seeing how you decided to ignore the logic in my post and started to mock me.
I expected you to understand that you can have a more valuable collection, instead you thought I had any interest in how old your collection is, mentioning your ancient Mega Drive.
I've ZERO interest in how old your collection is. Couldn't care less about it...
I can legally sell my PS4 and games, instead of only the console like you, which decided to acquire digital content for it.
You can't see the advantage, but perhaps at least you can see the disadvantage someone can have, in going digital only. Probably not, you'll continue pretending there's nothing positive in purchasing physical games and nothing negative in purchasing digital games.
You'll never realize how moronic your phrase is (yes, I'm mocking you, too. Why not?):
DaCostaBR: I don't buy physical copies. They just become clutter.
Yes, let's generalize and pretend that's the outcome, no matter where they are stored or how organized the owner is.
DaCostaBR: There's no used market where I live, and shipping is costly.
You fool, you don't need to buy used games to get them cheaper. So what if you don't have used market in your town, you can purchase online!
Even by paying the transportation cost + price of the game, you can spend less than purchasing digital version.
Of course, not all games will be cheaper, that's not what I'm saying.
If you don't have an abnormally low IQ you can find good deals in the internet...
