Can you chose to not install the expansions to IWD? if yes, it might be wise to make available non-expanded language packs as well.

About GK1 translation you can find two patches in that link (CD version and Floppy). The second one works on GOG version. Texts could be too fast... if so disable voices.

You know if they translate that "Adventure Pack" thingy that GOG includes?

I have no idea what it adds, so I wouldn't know what to check for. Though I assume it's only a small bit of text data, so it'd probably be included in the patch.

Doesn't include any new in-game stuff as in quests or something like that.

Concluding: The translation doesn't work for the adventure pack, because the latter includes strings (item descriptions, vendor dialog, and whatnot) that the former does not?

Since the Adventure Pack came out the same time Icewind Dale II was released, it will work, because there's only one patch-series available for the Game, not one for the "normal" and one for the "Adventure Pack" .

So it will work with the adventure pack.

You wouldn't happen to have translations for Baldur's Gate 2 other than German as well, would you?
