Fever_Discordia: Yeah but Disney owns the Tron movies and the Tron games so I don't consider it 'external IP' - As far as anyone can tell they wouldn't have had to go to any external company and pay to license anything, Deep Silver doesn't own the Metro book rights, as far as I know, sorry if that seems a bit contentious...
That's kinda confusing, but I think I get it.
I wonder if someone at GOG at least looks in here. I mean some of the games shouldn't be so hard to get...

Hmm, which ones?

Gydion: Hmm, which ones?
Obviously all the games which would run on modern OSes :/

Hmm with some of them, though, just because GOG CAN get a game doesn't mean that it SHOULD - check out the hidden-objects-paloosa that is the Strat First back catalog for a start...

I think the lists are mainly useful for when GOG is part way through a, say EA or Ex-Atari 'Retroism' batch of games and people are wondering what else might be in the pipeline although GOG obviously CAN deliver a delightful curve ball from time to time like releasing Aliens Vs. Predator or suddenly signing Disney, but that's all good!

Fever_Discordia:
I think what bothers me more actually is the games which are in some series, (like Warlords, Emperor Rise of the Middle Kingdom etc.) and yet are missing here. I agree though that some games aren't worth having. Also I would like to see more old EA (especially C&C) and Ubi games here as I don't want to use their client. Especially UPlay...

Well, if its lists of incomplete series that GOG only has parts of that you're after, may I recommend damien's thread? Here:
http://www.gog.com/forum/general/completionists_list_of_missing_games_from_gog_series

But yeah - Where's Settlers 1 and Driver 1 and 3? (2 was a PSX exclusive, sadly)

There are three more Team 17 games that are not in your list:

Flockers
Light
Schrodinger's Cat and the Raiders of the Lost Quark
Seems that the Soldier of Fortune series WAS licensed from the magazine after all
http://www.gog.com/forum/general/do_you_think_gog_will_ever_get_raven_games/post23
So I've deleted it from the Activision list
Updated the Disney section for the release of Grim Fandango Remastered from Double Fine (despite the controversy is still definitely still the same 'series' or 'IP' or whatever as the original and we're recording completely missing series here)

NB - Cyberia wasn't in my 'Interplay' list because it had had a sequel that was published by Virgin Interactive and, therefore, the status of the rights was by no means clear - the fact that Interplay still hold them is a nice surprise but not something I could have predicted

Finally got round to adding all 3 of these, sorry for the delay
Personally I would have said that Flockers was a worm spin-off but damien says otherwise so I'm including it here
Thanks
Rise and shine, Fever_Discordia! Time to make a new section for the new GOG publisher; Warner Bros.
Well, get ready to add the Arkham games and a slew of others including Mortal Kombat (2011) to your list.

Yep - I also need to re-check for this list
http://www.gog.com/forum/general/10_top_likely_additions_from_the_wish_list
As anything WB is now suddenly 'likely'
Damo is going to have some work to do too!

OH PLUS over here
http://www.gog.com/forum/general/external_ip_games_that_are_on_gog
I have to work out what I'm going to do with games that are use both Lego AND DC / Harry Potter IP simultaneously!
Busy, busy, busy!

Well, Warner Bros owns DC, so I don't think it should be a problem.
