Well, regarding downrepping, it's been YEARS now I'm suffering heavily this too. I also contacted support, and they told me they can't do nothing about. I lose a lot of points every day, I don't really care, but the fact there is someone so devoted to downrep people is creepy and disturbing.

Enebias said it best - this is not about rep - it's about GOG doing something about abuse of their "self-policing" forum that is totally broken. Frankly, the one person who cared the most about fixing this place and was willing to do it for free, got bashed upside the head by GOG and then bashed them right back by publicly posting how the "rep" system could be "gamed". I still kind of chuckle at his revenge.

Anyway, it used to be that if you behaved like a jerk, forum members would "correct" your behavior. Heck, I've certainly been "corrected" :-p But over the past couple of years, any idea of "correction" is a moot point. Instead what we have is some kind of infection... So yeah, GOG, you can't have your cake and eat it too. :-p

In other news- scamming by impersonating users is going strong, while GOG's "top men" keep attempting the impossible task of returning basic chat functions. More as we get it.

Seriously people, get a sense of humor cause life is way to fu6king short to base e-peen on a rep number! I am simply noting actual abuse of GOG's system of self-policing wherein they don't actually pay for moderation but expect members to do their work for them with the use of the rep-system. That it can be "gamed"... that it can be used to scam, harass, censor and drive off active, friendly contributors ... THESE are issues that GOG fails repeatedly to address in any manner whatsoever. This is exactly why I am pissed. IT is not about "oh I lost rep!" The number is meaningless in this context exactly because it can be abused with duplicate accounts!

Oh and don't drop naked codes - MAHAYO instead :-p This is my personal e-peen and I mean that. It makes me happy when silent creeps don't make off with a game without having to actually engage with another human being. So if you think I suck cause I've destroyed your silent picking off of game codes and feel the need to "punish" me by abusing the rep system - yeah, sorry. I love being the mother of MAHAYO.
