Must have been "Boulder Dash" (Amstrad CPC 6128): reflexes, panick from monsters chasing, strategy, hypnotic sounds and effects, it was a fascinating game.

Homeworld 1

That game was the first moment that I fully realized games are Art and I was just 11 years old.
While I'd played games before it, my first deep and true gaming love was probably boot-from-floppy CGA Sid Meier's Pirates. It was old by the time I got it (SVGA games were just starting to come out), but it was just so engrossing and pure fun.

Thanks for the free game GOG and publisher.

My first game, I fell in love with was Popeye on Commodore 64. My schoolmate had a C64 and only 3 games, one of these was Popeye. I had the chance to play it. Good times :)

Later I did see this game on an arcade machine and whoa! My jaw dropped, it looked and sounded much, much better than on the C64.
Vrooomcrash. Thank you for FlatOut, appreciate it.
Flatout is a great game (although Flat out 2 is even better), already have it, but thanks anyway.

Yes, but it is not included in the current sale: Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri.
On the other hand it does not really need to be, as its base price is already more than honest.
Thanks for the freebie. :)

Release RoboCop already! :P

Sure do: Pong.
Star Control 2 is literally the best game ever made. I don't know anyone who doesn't just purely love it.

The game is so good that other games don't even need to exist, but since games are art any company both big and small still try to make a game at least 1% as good as it. Too bad such a unicorn game doesn't exist...yet but at least they're trying and thats commendable too.
I really don't remember the name of the game, but it was a space shoot'em up cartridge game for the Commodore 64 with an awful sound. My mother hated this game and the got headache from it. *sorry mum* :-)

#Sale:
Not a single game for me in this sale :...-(
Thank you very much for the free game!

First game I fell in love with? Either Pong or Space Invaders.
