MadalinStroe: It was bound to happen, but I'm still surprised. This is the first sale, when there's nothing for me to impulse buy.
It's pretty hard nowadays to buy more games, if i exclude the games i always buy like Wadjet Eye games or similar i have to admit i havent bought that many games, too many new games released, some i do like but cant run ( hardware) other games i can run but wont buy ( (3d)engine use or other things (motions/lighting).

Anyway , the fact we have to go win 10 ( awfull spyware OS), lots of games dont run or run very poor ( not hardware related but software related) because win 10 is best for new, software, the 'emulation' is not available in home versions only in pro and more expensive versions, the 'virtual' machine like options are bad, its mostly if not mainly to run old business software so all the good old games are toast (◕︵◕), leaving many to keep the old PC aslong as possible and get a new PC ( ka-ching) to run awful win10 and still being spied on by Microsloth.

Unfortunately, the way GoG set up Sorcerer King - Rivals as an upgrade from the original Sorcerer Kings means it is always on sale.

If you already own the previous game which was removed, you would receive a discount of 50% off on the "upgrade" to Rivals. While everyone else will see a promo without a discount at all. This "discount" never expires.

That's strange, because I do own Sorcerer King, but there is no discount shown for Rivals here o_O?

If that's the case then its a dead promo that they should be able to delete...

According to the link, it will expire... in just over 2785 days. :)

Kelefane: Will more games be added to this sale as the week goes along?
avatar
ciemnogrodzianin: Thay said 200+ titles on sale, but there was "only" 180 of them discounted yesterday and marked as Lantern Sale. Perhaps that's some clue ;)
What other days will more games be added? Im assuming Wednesday and Friday? (ie Midweek and Weekend?)

chandra: I think that your sign's year is also considered to be an unlucky one? So good luck to anyone who was born in the year of the pig, you may need it ;)
Not in proper Tibetan - never heard of any bad luck relating to it. It might be the Chinese version - as that version is probably more ... prevalent.
Pig's year also includes wild boars, who are quite tough animals I think. At least in Risen ☺

RWarehall: Titles at a New All-Time GoG Low Price:
What's about the Brothers in Arms games?

$1.49 74% Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30
$1.49 74% Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood
$2.49 75% Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway

So far I've only seen them on sale at 50% discount. Were they in a bundle I've missed?

Also for me the base price of the first 2 games ($5.80) is lower than in your list. I'm curious if that's some strange regional pricing as the price is quite unusual.

Edit: It's indeed regional pricing as gift codes for the two games would cost me $2.49.

When they were first released, it was 50% off or 75% off if you bought all 3 which is matched now.

I should probably note that they are a new unbundled low though.

Try putting it in your cart - the discount should automagically appear.

OMG, almost 8 years until that promo is over o_O
Oh god, don't tell me there won't be a midweek because of this lantern sale. Did we have midweek and weekend sales during the Hot sale thing?
I was wondering if there is still the user who shared the links to the different versions of the background of the sales, or if alternatively there is someone who knows how to find them.
Am sure it was GOG staff Alexim, maybe they will see your post and put them up.
