ShadowPatriarch: thanks tinyE. i assure everyone i a
m not a scammer. here are my list of successful trades.

Advice: link to posts, not pages, like so:
http://www.gog.com/forum/general/known_scammers/post3522

There are several options for the number of posts on the page (10, 20, 30, 40 and 50); as such, as of this moment, the trading thread only has 196 pages for me, which means I can't use your links directly without guesswork and math. The chainlink icon visible when you mouse over a post links to that post; or you can use the post number (also displayed on mouseover).

You know "flight of the valkyrie" by Wagner - I think someone should compose a similar ode to Willyhelmet and company there called Flight of the shite-hawks

And even, that would be too good,.....

Nevermind, probably a bad wish for the wishlist.
Thanks to Sachys for pointing out a bug.

Bleed:
you can check who redeemed a gift code under https://www.gog.com/account/settings/orders

secondly, scumbags are selling gog accounts on grey market sites and the likes, there is no "master account"

This ^ but it would be good to be able to see who redemeed the freebie codes via order history.

Edit spelling :P

Guess that was a waste of a good wishlist after all.
But i can't seem to find where it reads who redeemed it, it's either "Not yet redeemed" or "added to self account"

Bleed: "added to self account"
O____o

When did gog add "captain caveman" as a language setting?!

Okay, okay, geez. What i meant to say was.
The only options i see are - Not yet redeemed, Added to account : Bleed or just the price i paid for it.
If for example, a friend of mine redeemed the code, it does not say that.

This reminds me of a certain member on our forum who confess to selling free games he gotten later on for a profit. Although he tries to downplay it by giving with proof via pic that he redeemed the games to his own account but who knows if he wld sell his account in future? So to me i dun think his tactic is convincing at all.

Furthermore, not only is he not haapy with a game he has just gotten just hrs earlier but the moment he noticed some1 donated another game (& it's not even on his wishlist) he asks for it & manages to get it as well.

So moral of the story? I hope we are not encouraging the wrong type of ppl to come here & leech games even if they may or may not be scammers.

I really hate scammers, with a passion i might add, just wish there were a better way to guard against them.

Also, this reminds me of an article i read some time ago with the title - "Decisions you make after 2 a.m are always wrong".

Oh well, i tried.

It was a (probably piss poor) joke - i figured it was likely a literal translation - just joking on specifically that aspect. ;)
Makes sense in "everyman" (not a language too many speak these days, yet, technically everybody does - its a proto form of english involving elements of nordic, mediterranean and slavic languages).

As to the codes, yup - bonus codes (such as Divine Divinity from the sale) do not show in your account - gift codes do. Or I presume thats what we're actually on about?! (had a drink or two so I might just be a bit aloof!)/

One reason (among many) the MAHAYO (make a human answer you - obviously!) initiative started - aside from saving a bunch of bitching / backbiting and those posting used codes to make themselves look good, it helped prevent the kid of behavious you're pointing at. Hence we disallow use of open codes and threads like Ninja 2.0 in TBBBBOB.

No worries, I'm a perfectionist myself and always strive to better my writing, yet sometimes fatigue wins over.

Well no, i was actually curious why games i traded with other forum members does not show up as "Claimed by - whatever username"
Any game i traded that's already been claimed by a third party only shows how much i paid for it, order no. and "Paid with PayPal".
