It was reported in that case that once the connection was allowed one time, you could run the game normally afterwards even if you blocked the program with a firewall, but I cannot vouch for that.
Which is pretty foul play, sure i can be offline and play it with my firewall disabled, but what sent of cunts want you to disable it or "allow" their program to connect when it's a single player offline game.
I don't blame the Devs, as i know it's a unity issue, i know why, it's business, it's all about the $$$$, but fuck i didn't buy a game to let it connect, as i'm online 99% of the time. I'd rather get a refund, despite me enjoying the two games somewhat it's not worth it.

Kingdoms & Castles
Rise of Industry
...

"The issue is caused by the way your firewall blocks the game, instead of letting it know that no network connection is available the game gets no response and this is causing the crashes.
Please use a firewall that doesn't cause this issue or disable the internet connection if you don't want to unblock the game.
Sorry for the inconvenience."
I would be also happier it would be without this feature...
It's probably intended design. Not support, i've been in contact with the devs on the forums first. I want my money back otherwise, i'm not supporting unity games if i have to let them connect as they please just so i can avoid it crashing.
