As you can see, Pooka faced the same odds and he was scum again after the reboot.

With Lift it was more so that I didn't think Joe would likely make Lift scum again after rebooting.

And as for Pooka(iirc): I FORGOT that Pooka was the one claimed against(and never went back to check), and as such let Pooka (unintentionally) slide a bit under the radar back then.

Even more because Lift enjoys playing Scum more than Town and he caused himself to lose that chance.
On one hand it's unfortunate. Would've been a great game. On another hand I got the opportunity to play with yogsloth and it was a great game regardless. Hopefully it won't be long until Lift and I are part of the scumteam again.

Sorry, I thought that Lift had been a bit hasty and jumped the gun and now we know this wasn't even the case. But even if it was I never meant like Lift was incompetent, just a bit imprudent.

(Weird that I didn't get a forum notification until I logged into a different computer)
