Ion Maiden is now available In Development, DRM-free on GOG.com.
Bombshell is back, more pissed, determined, and pixelated than ever. This time dispensing violence in first person, she goes on a righteous rampage against a mad cult leader and his cybernetic army. Gonzo FPS action, multi-path levels filled with secrets, guns, and guts, plus all the old-school goodness you've come to expect from a shooter spawned by the legendary Build engine which powered Duke Nukem 3D, Blood, and Shadow Warrior.

Note: This game is currently in development. See the FAQ to learn more about games in development, and check out the forums to find more information and to stay in touch with the community.

Reminder: Owners of Bombshell Digital Deluxe Edition have access to a prequel demo of Ion Maiden, containing several hours of gameplay.
Can't wait to see its final form. Might even dip early.
Waiting for LGR to make a video on this.
This should probably be noted in the news release too (from the game page):

"About: Ion Maiden's preview campaign is also available for download to all owners of "Bombshell Digital Deluxe Edition" or "Bombshell Digital Deluxe Edition Upgrade". You can download it from the bonus goodies section in your GOG library."

Gonna give the preview a go later today. Thanks for the demo!

EDIT: Oh I didn't see that this was already mentioned in the "Coming soon" thread for the game. Well, I can't be the only one that missed it.

EDIT 2: I see there's a reference to the demo now. My work here is done.

I didn´t ;) The demo is very good, save occasional stuttering, and because of that I am definitely gonna support the developers.

If the final game will be similar to demo, the game will be a lot of fun :)

I believe the initial one was just a "Coming Soon" sort of announcement.

Very excited for this. Must have played and completed the preview campaign at least half a dozen times now, hunting for all the secrets and easter eggs.

Still can't get over the fact that there is a new Build Engine game in the works in 2018(!). Should be a really good year for proper retro FPS', with Dusk and Amid Evil likely to come out (and I guess being released here) in a few months as well.
Thanks for adding the option to purchase it now. I didn't feel like going the Bombshell route.
Yay for Build! :)

Sort of; what you recall is the Coming Soon thread, the usual community testing thread for the devs/pubs to see what the community think about a specific game and in turn (maybe) help them set the asking price. Of course this is just my speculation, don't think about it more than you should. ;)
Nice artwork and idea! This game actually looks interesting to me. Would gladly give it a shot.

There needs to be a new sequel to Duke Nukem 3d released by 3d Realms I have seen the previews of this game it proves that they still can create works of art. I wish Gearbox didn't own the rights to Duke Nukem they have screwed over the character

Thanks both of you, guess I got confused with In Dev here and Early Access on Steam.

Cheers. The game looks brutal
low rated
Am I the only one thinking this is kinda preposterous?
