Block'hood, a relaxing neighborhood-builder with minimalistic artstyle, is available now for Windows and Mac, DRM-free on GOG.com.

Apartment complexes are the building blocks of a well-functioning neighborhood and neighborhoods are the building blocks of entire cities. If you were given all the necessary tools, would you manage to create an ecologically sound network of tenements that would never run out of resources and fall into decay? What would its inhabitants be like? Only one way to find out.

Aptly named Plethora-Project decided to provide players with a plethora of tiles and give them access to over 90 building blocks, challenging them to come up with interesting combinations and spawn unique neighborhoods with varying degrees of functionality. As they absorb player feedback and continue to improve the current features, Plethora-Project also work on implementing the most ambitious one yet: the population module. Once available, it will flood your pristine-looking neighborhoods with simulated people, challenging you to discover the building combinations that will attract the most unique tenants.

Build the coolest, most efficient, and long-lasting neighborhoods in the whole Block'hood, DRM-free on GOG.com.

New release? So no sale today? :)
I'm not really sure what this game is about, but from looking at the screenshots, I think the addition of people animations would be nice. If not, it'd look rather empty, sort of.

Painted_Doll: Meh . More ( Devolver Digital ) indie crap .
You can't be serious...finally we get more business sims and not another puzzle platform adventure game and you still complain.
looks cool. I would just build a giant penis
The postmodern minimalism of this game speaks to me. Why manage a dirty city full of ungrateful proles when you can construct a gleaming tower defined only by its abstract resources? I like this.
This sounds great almost like a Sim Tower kinda thing with a different graphic style. Definately going to get this one as soon as I can afford it.

Yeah, the gameplay looks almost nothing alike, but I always wished Sim Tower had this kind of open sandbox style instead of a rigid 5-star progression system.

I agree with the sentiment, but you're not up to date on indie hyperproduction trends: we haven't had a puzzle platform game in quite a while. I think it's survival roguelites currently, but I'm not sure.

I meant just the core of it. You building your building in a (mostly) vertical way, you need to make sure that people reaching everything as effective as possible, people prolly will have different needs etc. But than again its been a long time since I played Sim Tower so maybe I get things mixed up.

I certainly do.
Kerbal Building Program, without the Kerbals?

Looks interesting, and maybe a relaxing game. Curious to see what the "game" parts of it are, beyond just building for eco-efficiency. .

Zoidberg: I certainly do.
Interesting, are we being even more regionally segregated?

I don't, even seems to be 8,99 in euro's and 9,99 in dollars instead of being the same.
