fortune_p_dawg: i was thinking that, i need to play a few chill point and clicks and maybe some stardew. a minimal effort type game
supplementscene: I'm playing the p&c Moebius at the moment and really enjoying it. Life's been rubbish recently, aside from a newborn baby, which while a blessing is a stress in itself. Finances have gone through the floor and my wife and I are getting harrassed by an absolute nutcase neighbour. But the game is giving me joy. If the story was a novel or a movie, you'd bin it or walk out because it's poor by those standards but the interaction gives you some fullfilment.
ha, that's interesting you mention those things. we too have a little one (a toddler) and he's a little buzzsaw, but yes the stress can be overwhelming. the worry, the watching, the placating... it just never ends. we have two older boys but they're in their early teens, so they pretty much watch themselves these days, but we hadn't done the baby thing in a long time. we also dealt with a crazy house full of lunatic neighbors a few years ago when we were between houses (a house buy fell through and we got an apartment for cheap in a less than stellar neighborhood, it was only for a couple of months, but hooo boy) but some of the neighbors were so bad that i'd have to regularly walk my wife to her car. if you ever want to shoot the shit about neighbors from hell message me, i could tell you a tale or two. luckily we've bought into a decent house in a decent neighborhood since then.
and yes, i have moebius in my backlog. are the puzzles light?
