I cannot see much of a reason why I would keep 15 years worth of security vulnerabilities as well as not have full support for modern hardware features such as USB 3 and UEFI.

Of course, I do have a couple machines that run System 7 and Mac OS 8, but that's on hardware that cannot handle newer software, and the software is so old by now that it's become fairly secure due to no one targeting it any more.

BillyMaysFan59: Upgraded to Linux long ago.

Nuff said.
I wish more people would do so so that I don't have to wait until the heat death of the universe for Wine to get Direct X 11 support implemented :P
I still have a PC with XP on it, but my main gaming machine is running Win 7, purely because the place where I bought it didn't have any XP install CDs left :D

leon30: XP + 7 + Mint here
Same here. I have two rigs networked, one running 7 and the other XP. My daughter's machine (an old hand-me-down from me) is XP and Mint, And I have XP on a laptop with Mint dual booted on that. And another laptop that's solely Mint.
Upgraded to Win 8 when Microsoft offered the upgrade for 30€ and forgot about XP. After upgrade to Win 8.1 im quite happy and surprised how stable the system is and don't see any reason for upgrading. Win is basically just for games and programs that I can't get to run on my main partition with Linux Mint 17.3.

So basically Win 8.1 + Linux

On WinXP and old hardware here too, for any money-related stuff I boot into a live Linux environment though. Wouldn't mind a computer that could run newer games, but don't wanna spend the cash just yet.
Do all these games on here work on windows 10?

Nope, most works fine but not all of them.

Most games do but those that don't will not have Windows 10 listed as a supported operating system. Please check the system requirements of a game you're interested in before buying as we do have some games that outright refuse to run on Windows 10.

seleapi: I'm expecting no answer, just asked to know how many people are still using XP.
Curiosity :)
I just got rid of a computer that had xp- damn it, should have kept it. I cant play any of my old favs on this laptop with windows 10

Guess I should get myself an old laptop ... with xp? or windows 7? Idk ...I love Mythology, roller coaster tycoon 2. Windows 10 should not discriminate against the good old'e times ... makes me wish I would have kept my Atari lolz

Nah. Last time I had XP running seriously was over 1300 miles and 5 years ago.
Only on a CD. I'm using Windows 7 to play my games. (Too much trouble to get them to work fine under Linux.)
5 years linux only and never been happier

I will rather harakiri than using window$ again

seleapi: My gaming computer still runs with windows XP.
If your question was whether XP is the newest Windows version I am running, then no. I am mostly using Windows 7 at this point (I haven't found a good reason to upgrade to Windows 8.x or 10 yet).

If your question was whether I am running XP at all, then yes. I have two older retrogaming PCs running XP. They also run even Windows 98SE on the side, but there are very few games which need Win9x instead of XP.

I have cut them off from the internets, by the way. They are only for older games which have issues running on newer PCs.

seleapi: Please don't tell me to install linux because most of my games don't works with it.
You can install Linux also on the side, keeping Windows XP. I have Linux Mint (XFCE) running on one of those aforementioned older PCs, along with Windows XP and 98SE.

You say many new games don't support XP anymore, but then is that PC of yours powerful enough to run those games anyway, even if it had a newer Windows version?
I'm still on 7. When Hell finally freezes over and pigs starts to fly, then maybe I'll upgrade to at least 8.1.
But 10? No way, no fucking way.
