Hi all! :)

It’s not a secret that GOG.com, the platform and community gathered around it, is growing at an exceptional rate all around the world. We keep that in mind as we look for ways to improve our service for everyone. Obviously, one of the most important functions for all of you is downloading your purchases - preferably as fast and as reliably as possible.

For some of you this might sound familiar (yep it’s our 3rd time!), once again we are in the process of benchmarking various download locations, and trying to get the most representative sample of worldwide results. That means as many unique ISPs / cities / countries as possible, and we need a little help from you! :) Below you will find a simple test that requires just one click and won't take more than 2 minutes of your time to complete:
http://www.gog.com/2015_cdn_test

Your help is greatly appreciated here! Of course you can run the test as many times as possible (preferably at different locations and different times of day). Oh, and keep in mind that we used a little bit of Flash in this test, so if you want to participate please make sure you have the flash player installed and/or your are not using any flash blocking plugins in your browser.

Done in less than a minute on Windows 7, hope the data helps.
Done, I'll re run it a couple more times tomorrow :-)

I rarely had any issues in all this time but I hope it helps.
Completed from work ISP, will repeat at home later.
Done. Received the gog catalogue as a freebie, which was a nice touch (there were games in it that I still didn't have).
Tested! I'll try to remember to test again tonight and/or tomorrow.
Done and done!

I really, really hope GOG can fix the bandwidth issues. For so long I've been getting dial-up level download speeds, even though I have a broadband connection.
Done.

Can I have free pizza?

l0rdtr3k: Is The Witcher 5:Geralt saves Easter(staring Vincent Price and the Scooby gang) good enough for you?

snowkatt: you had me untill you mentioned scooby fucking doo

i hate scooby doo
Yeah, Scooby was getting long in the tooth. However, I think the inclusion of Scrappy improved the show immensely.
Done !
Done. I did it while streaming on YouTube. Should I try it as a standalone test?
Completed once and data submitted for analysis. I will do a few more at different times so you guys can have a better idea and then I will be expecting a reward of some sort. ;)

Done. Wheres my chocolate?
Did it again, same machine just two hours later.

Was going to do it from my phone, but it lacks flash so I can't.. :/
Test 1 completed, but I'm not sure if Crapcast is the best marker for data.
Did it again. Took 36 seconds this time around.
