We’re thrilled to announce the GOG Dreamlist!

This updated and improved version of the well-known Community Wishlist allows you to vote for the games you’d like to see on GOG. Your votes help us, our partners, and the rights holders understand which titles matter most to you.

Whether it’s a beloved game from your childhood or a title you’ve always wanted DRM-free, your votes guide our efforts to bring them to our platform—giving them a forever home in your library.

With the GOG Dreamlist, we’ve focused on improving the interface, consolidating threads for specific games, and providing more ways to discover and vote for new titles.

Each game on Dreamlist now has its own game card, featuring a detailed description, screenshots, and trailers. As passionate gamers ourselves, we know that every game carries a unique story. That’s why we’ve added a Stories section to the game cards, where you can share your memories, making your vote a powerful message of why these games matter.

We’ve also introduced enhanced browsing and filtering options, making it easier to find the next game you want to vote for and help bring to GOG.

As always, we welcome your feedback. We’re confident that GOG Dreamlist provides a better, more scalable tool to support further development and help us bring even more amazing games to our community.

With all that said we invite and ask you to explore the Dreamlist, cast your votes, and share your memories!
Hey all! We’ve been hard at work to make your GOG Dreamlist experience smoother, more intuitive, and simply more fun. We thought it'd be good to sum up the most important things that we've improved over the past few weeks.

Enhanced navigation

- Improved responsive pagination with automatic scroll-to-top when switching pages—saving you time.

- You can now search directly from a game card—less clicking, more voting!

Stay informed

- Real-time notifications when someone likes your story, or a new story is added to a game you follow. (We’re also working on a notification for when a game you voted for launches on the GOG store, which should come in handy soon)

- Stories now fully support special characters, and you can track upvotes on your own stories.

- View your stats section to see how many votes you’ve cast, games you’ve added, and to learn more about your activity.

- Check out other gamers’ profiles by clicking on their usernames to see who’s behind the stories and entries.

Streamlined filtering & sorting

- Active filters are now displayed as pills for better visibility.

- New quick-filter options and sorting by title or relevancy give your game catalog a fresh twist every visit.

- Easily filter games with or without user stories—and reset your selections in one click.

Discover your next favorite game

- The “I’m Feeling Lucky” button is available in both the hero section and on game cards—to jump into a random Dreamlist game instantly.

The work is, of course, not done yet, and we'll be adding new features and improvements.

FulVal85: I don't think that Rockstar Games will allow Max Payne (and/or other games) to be here...
Why do you think that? Rockstar Games is a subsidiary of Take Two Interactive, and we have... well,.. some of their stuff here...

Max Payne

Max Payne 2

Max Payne 3

:)
i dont see much sense. users will always look at how many old games you actually bring and we dont care much how bombastic the wishlist looks.
also, i dont understand why this new wishlist asks me to login when im already logged in on gog.

For me, I find the dreamlist much better than the wishlist. Mostly the filter by "voted for" and removing votes are a huge plus.

Some migration issues, since I never voted for DOOM (2017) or SimCity (2013). And I'd be impressed if that many people voted for Portal (1986).

There's still a few duplicates. Probably mostly console variants (Chip's Challenge) or spelling variations (SimAnt vs Sim Ant).

Adding games is easy when it's on their "list":
Added Snipes because reasons.
(It appears to be the same list Galaxy uses when adding non-GoG games.)

We'll see how adding games not on their list goes:
Testing with Microsoft Flight Simulator X: Gold Edition because I find it a bit awkward to vote for the Steam Edition.

Also the old Diablo wish's name bothered me for years.
Especially since I didn't vote for it and I couldn't remove the vote. (They merged my Diablo I and II vote into it.)

Not sure how much a wishlist/dreamlist helps, but if those < 100 votes somehow got Paladin II here on GoG, I'm all for it.
Good going gog, keep on with the dreaming! All luddites who don't liking change please touch some grass.
I love the changes, so thanks for all the efforts GOG team. :)

Also, I like the fact that duplicates and multi-game Wishlists are gone (or maybe better sorted?). I always felt that we were making it more complicated for GOG with those types of wishlists.

I also love the new ADD feature for the Dreamlist. Now you can easily see if the game you want to add to the Community Wishlist (or I guess now we should start thinking of it as the Dreamlist) already exists in real-time. All in 3 easy steps. :)

No, the duplicates are still there. Look up Captain Blood.
Sorry to say that, but my experience on GOG tells me that this is just another marketing stunt to gain attention which won't change anything. I do not have much hope anymore that my most favorite games will arrive on GOG ever, being on the wishlist for so many years already. But I'm going to vote nevertheless. :P

GOG.com: With the GOG Dreamlist, we’ve focused on improving the interface
Then why does the voting page ask me to log in again when I try to vote for a game and already be logged in to GOG? When I copy and open the link under the button in another tab it does not ask me to log in again though.

As with every newly "designed" layout on GOG things are more messy and more tiresome to use. :( When this is about us to vote why do we first have to scroll through "GOG Picks" and game advertisements before we are getting to the votes? Not even a 3rd of the page is actually used for the "dreamlist". What a waste of space and time. The old wishlist interface is much cleaner and easier to use. And I also can see which games I already have voted for, a mark which has gotten lost on the new list. The new filters are welcome though, but the interface to them again is only clunky. And mostly I do not even need a filter as I go for the name of a game.

Looks like there's still a lot to improve, GOG. ;)

ReynardFox: Oof, I hadn't even considered that people might be daffy enough to add pinball tables. Double oof at the flyer art for that SF2 table, lol.

Edit: People can even add bootleg retro games. Somehow I doubt "Virtua Fighter 2 vs. Tekken 2" is going to come here.
For a lark, my add was Draughts, for the Ferranti Mark 1. At least Pinball machines can be emulated and are collected in digital collections.

I'm not so sure anyone here is really wanting for a version of checkers made for a computer that predates UNIVAC.

Escape Velocity is also a lark, as it was only for old world Mac.

Oh, and Gran Turismo 4, which was PS2 exclusive and has never been ported.

(Starting to think that maybe there needs to be pizza rules.)

It's likely not going to win over Rockstar or Blizzard to team GOG immediately. That being said, it is nice to have a wish list which includes cover art, game descriptions, screen shots, trailers, etc. I voted on a few games I hadn't heard of before because they looked cool.

It's also nice that the new system has limited the amount of duplicates cluttering up the results list. There are still some on there what with different systems, special editions, collections, etc. But it's a lot less messy and chaotic than it was.

There are still ways search functionality could be improved with more genre options and stuff like that, but it's improved a hell of a lot and I'm glad to see it. It's better for the customers and probably improves GOG's image with potential partners as well.

king_kunat: Since many threads in the Community Wishlist referred to multiple games, included duplicates, or contained spam, we chose not to migrate the discussions.

During the migration, we consolidated votes from single threads referencing multiple games and distributed them evenly among the relevant titles.
This is fantastic. Many titles I searched for on the Wishlist seemed to have had many fans who were too lazy to search for an existing entry and so added duplicate entries, usually with spelling mistakes, wasting everyone's time and diluting votes. By GOG hosting the official list and preventing duplicates, staff effort can compensate for the laziness of such customers. I very much appreciate this.

When I go to the Wishlist ( https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games ) the left hand area says "Search: all wishes" and "Order by: most voted" along with other orderings. These orderings are largely useless to a voter, even if they are useful to statisticians or staff. What would be useful is "Order by: my votes". I have likely voted for 60-100 games in the Wishlist over the last 12 years, all of which are important to me, but few of which I can remember in any one week. How do I get the Wishlist to filter all the suggestions I have voted for? This is basic functionality. Please provide such a way for us to go through the list of games we've voted for and check they are represented in the new Dreamlist. Validation is an important part of any migration.

Thanks.

What it doesn't do very well that the old version did was when the GOG release of the game is the wrong version.

For example I would like to vote for the EGA version of LOOM but the dreamlist considers that the VGA version on GOG counts as it being fulfilled.
Question for the staff: if a game I submitted for consideration is eventually added to the database, will I get some sort of notification? Or will it be slipped in quietly?

Ultra.Instinct.: - There should be a way to report duplicates and games that are already on GOG.
I agree.
There are many from the Doom series, for example:
https://www.gog.com/dreamlist/game/the-ultimate-doom
https://www.gog.com/dreamlist/game/final-doom
https://www.gog.com/dreamlist/game/doom-3
https://www.gog.com/dreamlist/game/doom-3-resurrection-of-evil

There should also be a way to fix, or at least report, issues with covers, screenshots, videos, if they are missing, wrong, or less than ideal, for example: https://www.gog.com/dreamlist/game/one-step-beyond
WTF?

https://www.gog.com/dreamlist/game/world-of-warcraft-2004
https://www.gog.com/dreamlist/game/star-citizen-2013
https://www.gog.com/dreamlist/game/fortnite-2017
https://www.gog.com/dreamlist/game/dark-age-of-camelot-2001

DRM-free release on GOG when?
