I did want to buy Postal 2: Paradise Lost since it is 80% off during the sale.
But since GOG do not listen to their customers, and the sale is still super buggy, I decide that I will wait for a while.

eisberg77: No. I only care about the games, so being petty over a site redesign is a really dumb idea. Does the site redesign change anything for the games I play? No? Then why would I be so petty as to boycott them over something so minor as a site redesign?
Because nothing exists in a vacuum.

At the very least you have to consider that the redesign garners feedback. You can see the nature of that feedback. Now look at how Gog handles it.
Shit going down on Twitter? Immediate respone. Meanwhile many people who consider themselves long time customers are writing their asses off displaying dissatisfaction and pointing out tangible problems, yet they're given the cold shoulder.
The part where number of games was leaked innitially with the revamped reviews? While that shouldn't happen even once, mistakes happen. However we've already been through that a few months ago with less than stellar reception, you can not mess this up again. That's not a mistake, that's people flat out not giving a fuck.

It doesn't end there. We could carry on like this for a long time. In fact we have been in several threads.

Do you see the problem now?
This isn't merely bad design, this is everything from breaking functionality over complete lack of communication to what appears to be flat out apathy. I could probably deal with the redesign, as horrible as it is, but I don't know how I'm going to handle whatever comes next. To tell you the truth, I'm a bit exhausted by Gog's wild ride.

This just tells me the store experience is far more important to you than the actual games. Like buying games is the game for you, and not so much actually playing the games.

yes, we know, you will wait till the end of the advertisted sale date/time, and then claim that it ended early, like you always do.

The changes haven't really changed my spending habits on here. I spend far less than I used to, since I have better impulse control these days and don't fall for the "MUST HAVE NOW" thought process that caused me to build up such a massive backlog in the first place ;)

I have no idea how you could possibly get that from what I wrote, but maybe I've expressed myself ambiguously. So I'll try to get it as concisely to the point as I can:

With the introduction of user profiles and the redesign Gog does not have a good track record this year.
With that I mean the changes themselves as well as the way the situations have been handled.
Taken as a trend, this does not inspire confidence in the future of this place.
EDIT: Just saw your other posts. Carry on o/

Weeks passed and GOG still did very little to improve their super buggy newly designed website.
I bought nothing in recent GOG sales, while I did want to buy some games here.
Since GOG do not respect to their customers, I prefer to buy games on humblebundle or itch.io.
Quite a bit.

In the last two months I ve made only 1 purchase, when I was doing some ahopping once or twice a week.

I found the front page really unfriendly and I m annoyed by GOG lack of customer focus.
I ve increased shopping on Humble Bundle, even if I m not overly happy by their model business and game selection.
I've always been stingy as hell, but now that there aren't GoGmixes, it's harder to find games in a certain genre.
It could also just be that I've purchased most games that I've wanted and am slowing down on buys.
