(edit: sorry title was too long to be read easily I think)

"Has the site update affected (or further affected) your decision about how much to spend on GOG?"

Given all the complaints I've seen here, is the site update problematic enough for you to stop spending as much or any money here until changes occur? (Or will the complaints likely be enough to get GOG to make changes rather than having to hit them where it really hurts - financially?)

No, who would be so pointlessly petty over a site redesign when the actual functionality is more or less the same?

The complaints are at best, a vocal minority.
i like the changes. Won't have any effect on purchasing decisions though.
I'm not interested in boycotting and i like my drm free games. The new design isn't perfect and i sure have my gripes about some design desicions but overall for me it isn't really any worse than it already was except for GOGmixes which was easy to see and i do find some of them useful especially for keeping track of various things so thanks to those who invest time in them for helping out other people.

I also really like the review filtering which helps out a lot. GOG is very slow to fix issues that arises but i'm confident they will in time.... i don't know the reasons but do they lack employees for the current size of it's company ?

Well if bundles STAY this way I'll buy fewer unless someone will trade games with me.

Key people are missing, or wanted, it seems.
no. how a game plays has nothing to do with how the storefront looks

Thanks for pointing that out, i hope they start hiring then and maybe we will see some improvements faster.

tfishell: Basically just the question in the title. Given all the complaints I've seen here, is the site update problematic enough for you to stop spending as much or any money here until changes occur? (Or will the complaints likely be enough to get GOG to make changes rather than having to hit them where it really hurts - financially?)
In this case, no. There have been past changes that I disagreed with, and in one case (the forced unbundling followed shortly by the removal of manual shelf sorting) I bought from the other platform for a full year out of protest. You are around on gog long enough to know that complaints or wishlist entries of this sort will not have much effect.
I think that's been the case for years now.

I don't think they do a very good job at hiring.
high rated
I won't consciously stop buying games in here for a great variety of reasons (drm free, drm free and drm free), but, if discovering new games or even just the news is as much a pain as it currently is, I will most likely spend less time on here, and just come from the odd game I know for sure has been released.
Quite the opposite consequence of the intended change, I must say.
No but I did stop buying for a while after the other incident.

You try finding a web developer in Poland. Or one willing to move to/work in.

"The hired individual will need to work in-house, in our office based in Warsaw, Poland."
Kind of.
