KiNgBrAdLeY7: Ah, its only a few days, anyway. Better this way. Maybe they are going to reconsider, this game SHOULDN'T be exclusive to steam... Never buying if that is the case. Also, it is better to be delayed, because there is a slim chance of them reconsidering and putting out Denuvo of the final product/version.

Let's keep fingers crossed and wait. But seriously, if it has heavy (and issues-causing) DRM, or is Steam exclusive, i will never buy and will pirate. No more stomaching sh*t. Or if it is half that bad as 4 had been.
It won't be Steam-exclusive, but it will contain Rockstar's DRM.
Maybe GTA V will release on PC the day GTA VI will come on consoles. ;-)

I hope it's for the best...

Elmofongo: I think after the whole controversy with AC: Unity is really forcing people to not rush games into market.
Well, you are brave enough to compare a Ubi game with best brand Rockstar have hahaha.

Unity was a mess because Ubisoft does not know how to make games; Rockstar delay games because they do know how to make a game.

I think the problem with the date cames from 2K Interactive and investors. I don't remember a previous Rockstar game delayed so much while 2K news out there is that they aren't so much happy with money amount GTA 5 has make, even it broke some records at the very beginning.

I think Rockstar shows how professional they are to prefer delay the game instead releasing it no finished yet.

Still waiting for R* to officially explain what the "periodic entitlement verification" implies.

Except for PC 3D games... From what I've seen of GTA4 on a (much more powerful machine than mine) friend's machine they must have ported it to Java2. Ot the GTA4.exe is in reality a PS3-Emulator for future hardware generations...
Even if it wasn't for all that DRM crap attached, I would certainly wait for reviews and performance tests before trying GTA5.

I agree GTA 4 could be more worked for PC, however, Rockstar has been honest admitting several times that PC market is not their target, being consoles the ones they work for. Besides, the similarity between actual consoles generation with a PC will make that conversion lot more easier and somehow, the game will take advantage of machine resources more efficient. Or that is what I expect.

I tested GTA 4 and Liberty Episodes once on my machine and it ran very well at mid settings. My machine is not a high ended one (AMD A8 3510mx, 8GB RAM 1366 Mhz, AMD HD 6620g, Windows 7 x64) so is obvious GTA 5 will not run so nice even at low low settings ):

Even that way, GTA 4 runs better than lots of Ubi PC "games". Sorry, I just hate Ubisoft since I don't understand why people like so much those low ended games.
Got it on ps3 and ps4 and will get on pc. I can understand the people upset it is prrly the best new release game in the past couple years.

I honestly hope they take there time. I can't wait to mod it.

I guess they want to release it in a "safe time" when there will be no other major AAA game. It will guaranty their sales.

Or it's a tactic to extend pre-purchase deal and make GTA-fans more hungry.

Haha, will be hilarious if the game gets delayed to June / July period only to run into steam sales, then gets delayed again because of steam sales.
