Nicole28: To be honest, I find it a kind of pity for this game. I remembered the devs were being pretty nice in the release thread, trying to honestly explain the business side of things, why they are doing what they did..etc.. And it seemed
(in my opinion, not factual) that they were the ones who approached GOG to release their games here, which means they don't really have the kind of intent to shit on their customers (when combined with the above). This is different from companies who purely look at their customers as money trees and bags.
It's unfortunate that the game's model is just not what it is, to be compatible here. (Single-player games must be DRM-Free)
"We conisdered making the game without always on DRM, but in the end, decided not to. So we remade the SP separately so that you can play it offline." It didn't change the fact that the game was 100% DRMed and had a companion piece that was DRM free. It was against one of GOG's main tenets.
