Breja: Good riddance. Now let's get rid of Gwent and we'll be golden :D
...was the last we ever heard from Breja.

Am pretty sure the Gremlins haven't been removed from the GOG store, lets wait for the next (sale) announcement and see shall we.

I don't see it with a search.

Thats was a bit of sarcasm at all the bugs and mess up's with sales and other announcements. Gremlins are said to be responsible for messing things up, hence the Gremlins haven't been removed.

Oh my, this took me a bit to get the joke. You don't mean "Gremlins inc." but "Gremlins" in general. Stupid me. lol
GOOD! Better late than never, (Edited out) They can go rot on steam...Ironic that it belongs over there with that bloated walrus and the rest of the corrupted capitalist gremlins over at valve!

Good. It shouldn't have been here in the first place.

elcook: The reason behind it is more on the technical side, and together with the developers, we decided it’s only fair towards GOG users to stop offering the game at this moment.
But one question: why do you say something about 'technical reasons' and don't call it like it is: the devs weren't willing to provide a DRM free version, so they had to go. That would be a clear message to other devs.

To be honest, I find it a kind of pity for this game. I remembered the devs were being pretty nice in the release thread, trying to honestly explain the business side of things, why they are doing what they did..etc.. And it seemed (in my opinion, not factual) that they were the ones who approached GOG to release their games here, which means they don't really have the kind of intent to shit on their customers (when combined with the above). This is different from companies who purely look at their customers as money trees and bags.

It's unfortunate that the game's model is just not what it is, to be compatible here. (Single-player games must be DRM-Free)

Well that's new.

I'll happily abide by forum language moderation rules if they're universally applied.

I'd assume ~6 months old, since the new forum rules and a crackdown happened.

Yes, I also thought that it was quite strict for just one word but in general I think it is a good thing if GOG is now actively trying to keep the forum language clean. Like you said it then should be applied for everybody and I hope they are about to do exactly that.

"We conisdered making the game without always on DRM, but in the end, decided not to. So we remade the SP separately so that you can play it offline." It didn't change the fact that the game was 100% DRMed and had a companion piece that was DRM free. It was against one of GOG's main tenets.
high rated
What is up with boardgame devs and the obsession with DRM? First Armello and then this game. I just don't understand why.

Meanwhile The Warlock of Firetop Mountain is rejected by GoG despite being truly DRM-free. O_o

OTT, tbh, but maybe it's because of the type of thread the language is in, it is a notice thread after all.
Yet to see the same reaction in other threads, where blues hardly pass by.
Thought gog was hand off for the most part, we swing the other way it's not going to be pretty.

elcook: Such language won't be tolerated in this forums. That's the first and last warning.
Woah, moderation? I don't mind, it's just news to me.

Is there a list of words that are banned? The rules just say 'offensive language' which is basically meaningless as it is subjective.
