I wonder whether there's any connection between the appearance of new publishers and the onset of various changes and 'good news' capitulation--since these changes must have been in the pipeline for some time, and negotiations to bring publishers here would involve sales projections, etc.

If GOG did yield in order to bring more games here - the original point of 'good news', as I recall - you'd think they'd have said so or at least waggled eyebrows in that direction--but then, TET's gone, G-Doc's gone, Judas and Ciris seem to be pretty far down the totem pole, and GOG's approach to communication has long been patchy to say the least.

Disney and Warner games showed up flat priced initially, Paradox ones only had the Russian discount. More notably, Warner games are STILL flat priced even now.
None of these games are regionally restricted or censored.
A fair number of these games are only available in English, and only a couple are also available in Russian.

The original point of the Good news™" PR spin was to bring AAA titles here. Which of the games from the new pubs would you classify as such?

We learned shortly after that AOW3 and D:OS were among GOG's supposed big titles, so I take the 'AAA' bit with a pinch of salt. Cavalary is right to point out that Warner's games are still flat-priced, though.
Trying to think of something suitable for their contest, in light of these changes and the bleak outlook resulting from them...

This is what I chose which will probably result in it not being considered. :)

Great picks, and fast too! And here I was wondering whether I'll find one on the theme of betrayal or something of the sort or risk my ears bleeding for a while just looking for some really nasty death metal or such.

Tempted to suggest a certain song by Fleetwood Mac, but I still think the suggestion needs to be a bit more subtle.

I suggested the Imperial March.

You could try Why D'ya Do It? by Marianne Faithfull, but it's pretty nasty too. I remember watching a drag queen perform it back in my college days.

I picked a song called "Good News"...... I actually doubt it will be considered :P
