And of course, here’s some of the deals:
Cyberpunk 2077 (-65%)

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition (-80%)
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Gold Edition (-35%)

TurdFerguson87: It's supposed to be 24 hours. The next one is not even up when it should have been an hour ago. So that by saying, whatever that "deal" was, it is virtually over.

SultanOfSuave: For some reason, GOG thought it would be funny to say 'everyday at 3PM CET (6 AM PT)', even though Europe is currently observing CEST (i.e. CET+1) and the west coast of the USA is observing PDT (PT+1); just to make it a little unintuitive and annoying. So the surprise should have been available thirty minutes ago.
You could try arguing how places that observe daylight hours are the minority, but this is a distinction that has little relevance to this situation by the fact time had passed. As I wrote in my comment then, the current state of affairs was the fact it was not open for more than an hour past the supposed daylight hours, which would mean that even if it were not the daylight hours, it was past the time it should have opened anyway, so my point stood.

sadlyrematch: This is incorrect. PT means PDT anyway right now as it is used interchangeably in a lot of places to refer to the current one, be it PST or PDT, and they've been releasing at around 6:00am that time every day (I wake around this time and check shortly after 6:00am PT to see the surprise). It is currently 7:41am PT/PDT. So, it should have been available 1.5+ hours ago.
Alright, my mistake. I assumed that there was only PT and PDT like it is here, one for daylight savings and one not like it is here, where there is only GMT/BST or CET/CEST. GOG probably then also means the time currently observed in central Europe, as these times would actually line up properly as 3pm and 6am. But I think it would be better for them to write CEST to avoid potential confusion.

I don't know when exactly the "surprises" were released but if they were released according to the timezones given then there is no problem.

Just because you assume CET is CEST doesn't mean it is.

Just because you assume PT is PDT doesn't mean it is.

GOG has been terrible with timezones in the past but if it can observe any time zone accurately I don't mind if it's a timezone that's not being currently observed anywhere. Timezone data is unambiguous and available to the whole world.

Oh... Dredge is now about 3 CHF lesser vs. another platform using the limited time bonus. Have to take into account that certain games cost me up to 30 more because Gabe decided that my region need to become squeezed like a lemon°... yet still better than nothing. °it does not even count toward the "trade balance" because it is a service, not a physical good, services does not count for US, despite having a huge part of their economy "service based".

i am awaiting the next "present".

Actually i hope there is nothing special anymore, else i will have to break my promise "not to buy games until Christmas" another time. So far it seems like the promise can be granted now.

Aren't you rich and always boasting on the forum about your latest hardware?

I sympathise with the Swiss markup. But surely you can drive to the Gerrman border and buy your games there :)

Latest hardware? My GPU is still fine but actually pretty dated now. As we all know, the other parts are not playing the same important role on a gamer PC.

I kinda feel sorry for you and your economy that you are in need of having a 46% price cut on Dredge vs. my region... because you simply... apparently... barely can afford it. I hope it slowly gets better soon... in Japan.

In a world there almost any game is "digital" nowadays? Good joke...

Although i am one of the rather few gamers still buying a lot of physical games, yet, nope... the physical games are the only games priced pretty fair to me, so i buy them in a local store. The high priced games are digital-only... driven by Steam and "poor Japanese who enjoy to rip someone off".

Ok "RPG Geek with Monster PC" you are evoking so much sympathy right now.

Even more because I forgot about the numerous threads you created where you promoted the latest and greatest hardware. And also talked about wealth inequality in those threads without any remorse :)

Whats wrong? Yes i am a RPG geek with a Monster PC, not a Titan PC yet. Latest and greatest hardware is something nice to have, although not always a "must have".

I do not need your sympathy if it would mean to become a economically weak being after, because in the world we are living this is "not nice to have"; a very honest expression now. I enjoy quality... in every aspect and humbleness comes from something more whole than just "scaling themself down".

My advice is to be more "positive" toward those factors you seem to be "hostile" with, because in such a case it is a self fulfilling prophecy never to move out of it.

Actually i should go playing my 2 new physical games soon. Ghost of Yotei and Silent Hill F (Steelbook), but i still am busy with updating my GOG library yet.

I also enjoy quality? Quality at a good price :)

Surely you were the one "being hostile" by "awaiting the next "present" "

Dredge is actually a great game, but the base game was included in prime gaming not that long ago so I assume a lot of people have it already

The arrogance in your posts is quite fascinating.

Did the Nazi gold run out or why are you so snarky today?
high rated
No worries, i had a nice evening because of your "economically critical" talks...

Anyway, yes, the Nazi gold was running out long time ago already. There is still tons of gold at the place i am living, so... another time no need to worry. More than half of the worlds gold production is being refined here... yet the US will not put 39% taxes there else they can say goodbye to the "quality gold":.. common sense may have won for now.

People can not always act "as they please" unless it is economically working in some way. So far the high game price seems to be barely acceptable but it surely is "at the edge" of tolerance.
