An event like this happens only once a year – our Anniversary!

We’ve been here for 17 years; that’s quite a lot of time of making games live forever! For this occasion, we prepared something special: even though it’s our birthday, you’re the one getting gifts. Visit our store every day for a surprise!

And of course, here’s some of the deals:
Cyberpunk 2077 (-65%)
Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition (-60%)
Heroes of Might and Magic® 3: Complete (-50%)
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition (-80%)
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Gold Edition (-35%)
Dungeons & Dragons Neverwinter Nights 2: Enhanced Edition (-25%)
Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon (-10%)

…and more!

Anniversary ends on October 7th, 7 AM UTC. Check it out!

We were never going to get some high quality release every day, the fact we got 3 over the past two days is already incredible.

Or what were you expecting?

As expected. Did anyone really bellieve that they'd release a big title every day? And especially on the weekend it's highly unlikely.

Honestly yes, I was expecting a new release everyday, of course not at the level of the last two days, but at least some indy title that was missing on Gog or something similar.

I understand your feelings, but it was never stated as a game every day. We will likely have a couple more games coming up next week tho.

A game with Dr. Jones? The latest Indy game is too new, I guess.

I assume they're taking the weekend off, per usual. I'm sure we'll get regular, scheduled releases during the weekdays, just nothing really special like we got the past two days. Personally I'm not expecting anything too big until Oct. 7.

I doubt that. I'd have more faith in the list WinterSnowfall dug up and SCPM posted:

https://www.gog.com/forum/general/games_that_are_unofficially_confirmed_for_release_on_gog_in_the_future_part_3/post1936

But in general I wouldn't hype yourself up, only to be disappointed. I do think Oct. 7 might be a big deal, though.

Remember to be grateful guys:)
We got a huge win on day 1, nothing will likely beat that!

I didnt expect a game announcement every day, but one thing that would have been nice for these wallpapers, and others if u plan on adding them, is an option to use them on our profiles at least :)
Then I would have used it for the duration of this event, but I dont see an option to do that.

17 yrs is a long time and still standing, it is worth commemorating in todays times where platforms come and go or sell their souls to the devil and become useless or full or ads etc.

-
Being grateful.
Its something we forget, much of the time.

Feeling grateful, taking a min to think about what good, big or small, we got today, or yesterday, the food on our table when others starve, has mental benefits.

When we feel grateful the medial prefrontal cortex lights up.

Then the anterior singulate cortex activates.

These pathways handles emotions, empathy and more.

These areas also share the same reward processing networks in ur braincells as the feeling of being happy and motivated.

That means, quiete literally, that if u have a bad day, is sad, angry, lazy etc, u can boost ur own happiness and good feelings by simply thinking about things u are grateful for. Whether thats the wind in the trees that blows the acorn away to start a new life that will help us and animals both, or the food u were lucky enough to eat but take for granted, or ur cleaning lady that cleaned ur dirty filthy stinky room, or GOG giving us access to games we wouldnt have otherwise.
Those all count. So if u do it right, allow urself to think and feel it.

In short: Gratitude uses the same brain circuits that make u feel happy and motivated, which is a feeling ur mind rewards u with:)
