Regardless of what you think about the validity of GoG not selling one game, you're missing the point by miles. The point has always been that the OPs complaint and his "evidence" of the validity of his complaint aren't remotely correlated. You have to do mental gymnastics to make that so....

You essentially walked into an argument about something and picked one very specific part of the discussion to get very hung up on.

It's like you walked into a discussion about astrophysics and then decided to toss out the whole discussion in favour of talking about the colour of your car. Yes, the way light refracts off your car is how we perceive light, and light refraction may be tangentially related to astrophysics... but it still makes your argument kind of pointless.

That's a shame your original comment was pretty much spot on. I didn't agree with it entirely, but more people need to be pointing out that extreme elements on both sides of arguments are drowning out reasonable discussion for a lot of things. I'd be happy with a compromise position being what people are talking about for just one thing.

There's a difference between being in an echo chamber and having common sense. Most people here are just able to tell that someone's pissing on their leg and trying to tell them it's raining.

Being able to sort out fact from reality does put me in a box. It puts me in the box of having a reasonable and fact based position on what I'm discussion. I'm perfectly willing to listen to a valid argument as to how SJWs are ruining GoG if you have one... the argument the OP presented was not a reasonable argument. Nothing he brought up supported his argument. I'm sorry you're mad that you're losing the argument here and therefor everyone else is in an "echo chamber."

Like I said before, most of the people on the forum who have hangups over the SJW stuff commented in the thread about Grimoire not being released here and they pretty much all agreed that GoG was right to not release it. If you're mad about a game you want not being released here, that's fine... I get that. But it doesn't mean that there's a conspiracy to keep you from buying it.

Something about GOG having certain game schedule of releasing games here and they can't just allow every game into it.

I don't see a compromise in the future at all. All I see is a degeneration in communication until neither side can live with the other and a full scale civil war erupts. Then it will be an ideology that loves guns and controls the food versus the ideology that hates guns and thinks growing food is beneath them. This will not end well...

Conservation is keeping things the same, it's by definition a limiting position. I'm just talking on a pure technical level here, nothing to do with likes or dislikes.
