ZFR: Final Vote Count

trent 7 - gogtrial, blotunga, Vitek, Joe, dedo, GH, Lift
Joe 1 - Micro
gogtrial 1 - phaolo
blotunga 1 - trent

Not voting - catte, nmillar

12 players in game. Takes 7 to lynch.
Ok, looking at the trent wagon there I'm not happy with the speed at which people piled on in the latter half. Not specifically Lift, but dedo and GH climbed on with a certain eagerness. Those votes came very fast and we had many hours until the deadline.
I probably would have been on the wagon if the day hadn't ended before I came online, but it would have been more out of avoiding a no lunch than anything else.

I find it interesting that GH is casting shade based on my absence from the wagon. I didn't get to log in until lunch time at work and by that point the day had been over for several hours.

I can't speak for the others, I can only do so for myself. Would you have preferred me to stay on Lift until the very last minutes of deadline and go yet again to the situation where there is next to no time for getting a claim and having people reacting to it, possibly allowing the option of considering an alternative? Sure, this whole thing went to shit but imagine for a moment it didn't. Part of the process is to get the person close enough to make it clear that they are about to get lynched and get their claim, have reactions to it and work something out of it. How do we do that if we don't vote or if we vote during the last hours/minutes like we tend to do and then complain people took too long?

GymHenson: To that end, i'd like to point out one thing: two of those I suspect were the only ones not voting at the end of D1.....Catte and Nmillar.
What is bothering you exactly? That they weren't voting at all or that they didn't back up Trent's lynch?
Also, you do consider the fact that the day was cut 6-8 hours short, don't you?

Those are valid points, but the very fast succession of votes still spooks me a bit. Perhaps I should be looking more at blotunga and Vitek.
Joe is obviously cleared and I think for now I'm prepared to think that gogtrial probably wouldn't have pushed so hard as scum.
PSA: I have to travel today and will be back tomorrow evening or on Monday morning. I may have connectivity but I'm not sure.

We had around 10 hours, and not everyone can be online at the same time due to IRL....so not much time to get another wagon going.
(Although seeing Trent's flip, I now think a nolynch would have likely been more preferable in that particular instance)

Also it's interesting that you seem to be focusing on myself and dedo joining Trent's wagon over Lift...who oddly enough happens to be the one other person now on my suspects list.

----

To all:Could Lift indeed be scum, or could he be town and Catte scum, and Catte trying to cast suspicion on him? Something to think about, at any rate.

Tbh I was less pointing out you and Nmillar not being on the Trent wagon, and more about how my two suspects(at that time) were the only ones not voting for anyone at the end of D1.

(Bump needed)

Vitek: And NK = night kill. :-)
No Kidding!? That does seem to be a pretty contentless way to enter the day...

I'm glad ZFR is not playing, cause he'd be slapping such a big fat "WRONG!" on here. :| I know my reads tend to be bad under the best of circumstances, but seriously, I had strong reads here, and it'd be nice to be right sometime... But I can't see scum!Lift hammering like that. Except, I guess, if it really was accidental?

*looks around* we're still waiting for microfish, but otherwise everyone has checked in.

@Microfish: When you show up - you were particularly absent at the end of Day yesterday (last substantial post was on the 13th, and then you only posted a short "what's happening?" question on the 15th). That might mean you have a good outside view. Any suspicions about the way things developed?

As I said just now to Catte, it was the former. And yeah, I took into account the day being cut short....it's just "odd" to me that my top two suspects didn't have any vote placed at all.

Also Lift hammered without looking, which is odd for him(being a vet to mafia games and all).....plus Catte in Post 424 seems to be placing less suspicion on Lift for their hammer and more on your vote and mine.....so Lift is now also a bit leaning more towards scum on my lists.

(Though of course it could all be a ploy to get town!Lift shaded and possibly lynched and out of the way by Catte and Millar, or any other scum....so I am not leaning Lift as fully scum as Catte and Nmillar for now)

Take me through your reasoning here? Why would nolynch have been preferable over trent's flip "in that particular instance"?

We'd have one more town to help find scum....albeit one who was possibly losing interest in the game...that's about it.

I would have preferred one of my suspects, actually.....now we have one less town...but what's done is done, and we need to move on and find scum.

Note to all: Will be going afk for a few hours to do some errands. Will be back later if anyone has any more questions or posts anything else.

Damn indeed....well, no worries: we shall find your attacker or at least give it our all in trying.

Also(to lighten the mood a bit): sometimes damn bewbz can be fun :)

So.. what now?

I wonder if there's scum among those who voted trent or if townies completely scored an own goal -_-'
If town allegedly prefers a D1 lynch, what about scum?
I think they'd go for it too (if against town), but I'm not too sure.

And if that's true, was there someone who swapped wagons too quickly, maybe on trent?
