supplementscene: Guys is this a coincidence? Joe predicted 2 Scumteam on Page 1 (OK Carr was SK and he couldn't know this) but is this distancing from Joe with SPF?
Is Microfish also Scum team Joe?
I know you do this every game role
Hammer was in the last hour and came from Microfish. Then a fair few minutes later Wyrm claims he's showing us how to hammer, which was odd. Then Joe comes to vote 2 votes after. Now those 2 posters may not have known the hammer had been dropped but if they did it's kind of like a desperate 'I better make it look like I was on the wagon and taking the game seriously'
As for my guess, I assumed Doctor was the only remaining role that could block Mafia NK. It sounds like you know differently and are hinting at a role?
WRONG again. We needed SIX to hammer, if you count votes, I was FIFTH, and BOOK was SIXTH.
ZFR: D2 Final Vote Count
GameRager 6 - Pooka, flub, dedo, scene, Micro, Bookwyrm
flub 2 - trent, JoeSapphire
scene 1 - GameRager
JoeSapphire 1 - gogtrial
I said much of yesterday that I did NOT like GR's playstyle; it was bad for town, and yet I recognized myself in parts of it. The unwillingness to start a train was not good. The final nail in the coffin was his statement that he'd played a Town Doc on this forum; I went thru the list of previous mafia games, and he was NEVER a town doc. This was either a) a lie (scum) or b)mis-remembering (town). The lie was more evidence than we had against anyone else.
I WANTED
Scene's lunch; I said that from the end of D1 thru the near-end of D2.
I swapped BECAUSE 1) we were running out of time, 2) scene's wagon was going nowhere (had two votes--myself and GAMERAGER (TOWN-RB), 3) my second-fav (as mentioned previously) target was GR (due to aforementioned scummy-looking play), 4) GR lied-wittingly or un, 5) we needed
something to analyze, and 6) see 1). If Pooka and a few others had jumped on scene, we could have probably lunched scene instead
-----------------------
dedoporno: Out of all the possible presumptions you made the one that is wrong?
I away from the game in the final hours (almost entire RL day really) of Yesterday so I'm not sure exactly how close to the deadline all of this happened but the hammer is by definition near the end as it triggers it. How close was it to the actual deadline?
By the looks of things Wyrm and Joe most likely cross-posted at the same time but how close to that was Micro's vote?
There was desultory talk; I pinged GR several times in the waning hours of D2 for his defense, showed him the charges he needed to refute, even what evidence he needed to present to clear himself; he did not. I had no choice but to believe him scum.
I figured it was time to gain the info, and as the others weren't doing so, I figured if I did, maybe one of them would too.

supplementscene: Trent - He took position 4 after Pooka voiced his potential. This seemed opportunistic - GOGtrial has defended 'position 3 and 4' ie Trent and GOGtrial. Why Scum do typically jump on positions 3 and 4, I know I have.
...
I believe position 3 and 4 (and 5) are more scummy though because Mafia in position 1 and 2 have no idea if the wagon is going to take off.
After 2 votes at positions 3-5 they can weight the wagon so it is the clearly the leading the wagon. Group think takes over and 'there must be something in this 5 other people think it.'
You've also defended Trent twice now, on the mod-vote and secondly on him taking position 4 on the wagon.
supplementscene: Why wasn't there a Night Kill? Presumably a Doctor self targeting? Did they go for someone quiet who held back?
Really? You didn't read the setup again? tsk, tsk, tsk.
supplementscene: I actually thought the fact SPF didn't interract with Gamerager meant he probably wasn't Scum.
And yet you voted in the aforementioned "Meta-scum-Position 4" The incredible, nearly unheard-of irony. Thank you for the chuckle.
supplementscene: Why has Joe's wagon grown so fast? I was clearly in favour of it yesterday and it seems convenient 2 players have jumped on it today with discussing my speculation. Interestingly the 2 players who are on this wagon also came into hammer our Roleblocker. I know I did 2 and that's hypocritical because I believe Town should be responsible enough to hammer but why did they only come in at the end? I will go back and re-read.
Again, I said what I said earlier in this post--We were out of time. People have in turns preached, screamed, cajoled, encouraged, berated and even become upset about "no-lunch" EODs.
I also did not expect
both Book & Joe to jump in; in fact, I didn't think Book would jump
unless he could hammer. Thus, it was my responsibility to "vote for the scummiest-looking person who stands a chance of being lunched".
I don't recall you being in favor of Joe's wagon, maybe a reread will show it.
supplementscene: Right now Microfish is my preferred choice because his play to me in this game is very different from his Town play. This maybe due to time constraints.
This. Is.
Rich. We have played in one game together; I was town, you were scum. I
have never played mafia as scum before--always town--and you have the audacious nerve to claim that this looks different from my town play. You don't even know all the facets
of my town play. I even said
last game that from then on my town play would be different due to not liking what my playstyle did to me the first game. IIRC, I said as much in this game. Your "previous experience pool" of my playstyle is 1-2 games,
max. Also, it should have been incredibly obvious to you that my vote on Joe's unexpected, unwarranted, and unprovoked OMGUS vote just now was in itself OMGUS. That you didn't pick up on it is...bad.
---------------------------
JoeSapphire: so much snip
So why not vote for Book? It seems your case is better against him than me.
In case you missed it the half-dozen times I've said it, I'll say it again and make it clearer. I said I would try to avoid my mistakes of previous games; ie tunneling, trying so hard my health suffered, etc. I have, I think. I hope.
Also, my grandparents had a major Wedding Anniversary during this game; as a family you always gather for 60+year anniversaries--at their age, who knows how many years they have left? This and other IRL stuff took up no little time.
Reading through the list of roles, 3 possibilites arise--1) we have a roleblocker of some sort--lower odds than GR being RB, but there. 2) we have a doc who protected the victim. 3) as it nearly happened in game 57, the mafia "bickered" amongst themselves so much, they ran out of time to decide what to do.
Bump please, maybe.
